T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella vaikuttaako ohjelmistoalan ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kokema teknostressi ty\u00f6roolin stressaavuuteen ja et\u00e4ty\u00f6skentelyn tuottavuuteen. Aihetta tutkittiin kolmen hypoteesin avulla. Ensimm\u00e4inen hypoteesi oli: teknostressi on k\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4en verrannollinen et\u00e4ty\u00f6skentelyn tuottavuuteen. Toinen hypoteesi oli: ty\u00f6roolin stressaavuus on k\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4en verrannollinen et\u00e4ty\u00f6skentelyn tuottavuuteen. Kolmantena hypoteesina oli: teknostressi on suoraan verrannollinen ty\u00f6roolin stressaavuuteen. Tutkielmassa tutkittiin Yritys X:n ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6it\u00e4 kyselytutkimuksella. Kyselytutkimus toteutettiin Google Formsia k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en. Yritys X on pohjoismaiseen ohjelmistoalan konserniin kuuluva yritys, joka toimittaa talous-, palkka- ja henkil\u00f6st\u00f6hallinnon ohjelmistoja. Kyselyyn osallistui yhteens\u00e4 72 ihmist\u00e4 169 mahdollisesta vastaajasta. Tutkimuksen tuloksissa kerrottiin taustakysymysten vastausprosentit sek\u00e4 muiden kysymysten keskiarvot sek\u00e4 keskihajonnat. Kyselytutkimuksen analysoimiseksi hy\u00f6dynnettiin eksploratiivista faktorianalyysi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 rakenneyht\u00e4l\u00f6malleja. Faktorianalyysiss\u00e4 v\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4t pakotettiin latautumaan kolmella faktorilla ristilatausten v\u00e4ltt\u00e4miseksi. Eksploratiivisesta faktorianalyysist\u00e4 muodostettiin kuviomatriisi. Estimointimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin p\u00e4\u00e4akselifaktorointia ja rotaatiomenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 oli direct oblimin vino-kulmainen rotaatio. Lopullisen rakenneyht\u00e4l\u00f6mallin luomiseksi muodostettiin kolme muuta rakenneyht\u00e4l\u00f6mallia. V\u00e4livaiheet kuvasivat hypoteeseissa esitettyj\u00e4 suhteita. Lopullisen rakenneyht\u00e4l\u00f6mallin tilastollisesti merkitsevien polkukertoimien sek\u00e4 rakenneyht\u00e4l\u00f6mallin hyvyysindeksien perusteella tehtiin johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kset. As teleworking increased, the need to use technology also increased. In addition, changed work habits undermined perceptions of how one\u2019s own work role is changing. The purpose of this study was to examine whether the technostress experienced by software workers affects the work role stress and the productivity of teleworking. The topic was studied using three hypotheses. The first hypothesis was: technostress is inversely related to telecommuting productivity. The second hypothesis was: the work role stress is inversely related to the productivity of teleworking. The third hypothesis was: technostress is directly positively related to the work role stress. The study examined the employees of Company X by means of a survey. The survey was conducted using Google Forms. Company X is a company belonging to a Nordic software group that supplies financial, payroll and personnel management software. A total of 72 people out of 169 potential respondents participated in the survey. In the results of the study was reported the response rates of the background questions as well as the means and standard deviations of other questions. Exploratory factor analysis and structural equation models were used to analyze the survey. In the factor analysis, the claims were forced to load by three factors to avoid any crossloadings. A pattern matrix was formed from the exploratory factor analysis. The estimation method was principal axis factoring and the rotation method was direct oblimin oblique rotation. To create the final structural equation model, three other structural equation models were formed. The intermediate steps described the relationships presented in the hypotheses. Conclusions were drawn based on the statistically significant path coefficients of the final structural equation model and the goodness of fit indices of the structural equation model. The results of the study showed indications that software workers experienced technostress, telecommuting productivity, and work role stress.
