T\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro gradu tutkielmassa on k\u00e4ytetty aineistoa Munukka ym. (2018) tutkimuksesta \u201cSuoMiLiikunta\u201d. Tutkimusaineisto koostui 17 ylipainoisesta naisesta, joiden keskim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4inen ik\u00e4 oli 36.8. Tutkimuksen sis\u00e4\u00e4nottokriteerit olivat fyysisesti inaktiivinen el\u00e4m\u00e4ntapa ja kehon painoindeksi (body mass index, BMI) > 27,5 kg / m2.\nKokonaisenergian ja ravintoaineiden saanti analysoitiin kolmen p\u00e4iv\u00e4n ruokap\u00e4iv\u00e4kirjoista. Ruokap\u00e4iv\u00e4kirjat k\u00e4siteltiin Micro Nutrica-ohjelmiston avulla. Kokonaisrasvamassa (kg), rasvamassa (%) ja viskeraalisen eli sis\u00e4elinten ymp\u00e4rysrasvan m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 mitattiin Inbody- laitteella, joka perustuu bioimbedanssi-menetelm\u00e4\u00e4n. Osallistujat ottivat itse ulosten\u00e4ytteet ohjeistuksen mukaan. N\u00e4ytteist\u00e4 eristettiin DNA ja analysoitiin mikrobien 16S rRNA -geenin amplikonisekvensoinnilla suoliston mikrobikoostumus k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en hyv\u00e4ksi bioinformatiikkaa. Tutkimuksen tilastolliset analyysit tehtiin k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 IBM SPSS Statistics 26 -ohjelmaa. Spearmanin j\u00e4rjestyskorrelaatiokertoimen avulla tutkittiin ravitsemuksen yhteytt\u00e4 suoliston mikrobistoon ja kehon rasvakoostumukseen.\nTuloksissa havaittiin, ett\u00e4 ravitsemusmuuttujista kuidun m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 (g), sokerin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 (hiili-hydraatit-t\u00e4rkkelys-laktoosi) ja sokerin energiam\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 (kcal) oli eniten tilastollisesti merkitsevi\u00e4 korrelaatioita mikrobien sukujen kanssa. Ravinnon kuidun (g) m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 korreloi eniten positiivisesti Paraprevotella-suvun kanssa. Sokerin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 (hiilihydraatit-t\u00e4rkkelys-laktoosi) ja sokerin energiam\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 (kcal) korreloi eniten Bacteroides-suvun kanssa. Tulosten perusteella ravitsemusmuuttujista kuidun ja sokereiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 saattaa olla eniten vaikutusta suoliston mikrobiston koostumukseen. Ravitsemusmuuttujista hiilihydraateilla ja rasvalla oli tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4t korrelaatiot viskeraalisen rasvan kanssa. \nJohtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen\u00e4 tutkimuksessa todetaan, ett\u00e4 ravinnon kuidun ja sokereiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 saattaa olla suurin vaikutus suoliston mikrobiston koostumukseen, verrattuna muihin ravitsemusmuuttujiin. Ravitsemuksessa hiilihydraatit ja rasva saattavat vaikuttaa kehon viskeraalisen rasvan m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4n. This master's thesis used material from Mu-nukka et al.'s (2018) study \u201cSuoMiLiikunta\u201d. The study subjects consisted of 17 overweight women with a mean age of 36.8. The inclusion criteria for the study were a physically inactive lifestyle and a body mass index (BMI)> 27.5 kg / m2.\nTotal energy and nutrient intakes were analyzed from three-day food diaries. Food diaries were processed using Micro Nutrica software. Total fat mass (kg), fat mass (%) and visceral or visceral peripheral fat were measured with an Inbody device based on the bioimbedance met-hod. Participants took stool samples themselves according to the instructions. DNA was isola-ted from the samples and analyzed by amplicon sequencing of the microbial 16S rRNA gene for gut microbial composition utilizing bioinformatics. Statistical analyzes of the study were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Spearman's order correlation coefficient was used to study the relationships between nutrition and gut microbiota and body fat composition.\nThe results showed that of the nutritional variables, fiber content (g), sugar content (carbohyd-rates-starch-lactose), and sugar energy content (kcal) had the most statistically significant cor-relations with microbial genera. The amount of dietary fiber (g) correlated most positively with the genus Paraprevotella. The amount of sugar (carbohydrates-starch-lactose) and the amount of sugar energy (kcal) correlated most with the genus Bacteroides. Based on the results of the nutritional variables, the amount of fiber and sugars may have the greatest effect on the com-position of the intestinal microbiota. Of the nutritional variables, carbohydrates and fat had statistically significant correlations with visceral fat.\nIn conclusion, the study showed that the amount of dietary fiber and sugars may have the greatest effect on the composition of the gut microbiota compared to other nutritional variab-les. In nutrition, carbohydrates and fat may affect the amount of visceral fat in the body.
