T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 kuntoutusalan ammattikorkeakouluopettajien osaamiskokemusta yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkostotoiminnasta sek\u00e4 tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4mistoiminnasta ja sit\u00e4, onko osaamiskokemus yhteydess\u00e4 ty\u00f6kokemuksen pituuteen. Lis\u00e4ksi haluttiin selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, eroaako kuntoutusalan opettajien osaamiskokemus sosiaali- tai terveysalan ammattikorkeakouluopettajien osaamiskokemuksesta.\nTutkielma on osa TerOpe \u2013 Osaavat opettajat yhdess\u00e4! -k\u00e4rkihanketta. Tutkimuksen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin suomalaisilta ammattikorkeakoulujen ja ammatillisten oppilaitosten sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalan opettajilta internetiss\u00e4 t\u00e4ytett\u00e4v\u00e4ll\u00e4 kyselylomakkeella syksyll\u00e4 2018. Opettajat arvioivat talous-, hallinto- ja johtamisosaamistaan, viestint\u00e4-, vuorovaikutus- ja verkosto-osaamistaan, substanssi- ja eettist\u00e4 osaamistaan, tutkimus-, kehitt\u00e4mis- ja innovaatio-osaamistaan, pedagogista osaamistaan sek\u00e4 kulttuurista ja yhteiskunnallista osaamistaan vastausskaalalla 1\u20134 arvon 4 tarkoittaessa korkeaa osaamistason kokemusta ja arvon 1 tarkoittaessa matalaa osaamistason kokemusta. Vastauksia saatiin 21:st\u00e4 ammattikorkeakoulusta ja seitsem\u00e4st\u00e4 ammatillisesta oppilaitoksesta yhteens\u00e4 422:lta vastaajalta. Analyyseiss\u00e4 keskityttiin ammattikorkeakoulussa kuntoutusalalla ty\u00f6skentelevien opettajien (n=28) kokemukseen omasta yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaamisestaan ja tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaamisestaan. Kokemuksia tarkasteltiin frekvenssianalyysill\u00e4, korrelaatioanalyysill\u00e4 ja ristiintaulukoinnilla. Lis\u00e4ksi tehtiin vertailua sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalan ammattikorkeakouluopettajien v\u00e4lill\u00e4 (n=310) yksi- ja kaksisuuntaisella varianssianalyysill\u00e4.\nKuntoutusalan AMK-opettajat kokivat yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaamisensa (ka 3.47, SD 0.376) sek\u00e4 tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaamisensa (ka 3.63, SD 0.319) hyv\u00e4n\u00e4. Yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaamisella ja tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaamisella oli tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4 positiivinen yhteys (p=0.001). Tutkintoa vastaavan alan ty\u00f6kokemuksella tai ty\u00f6kokemuksella opettajana ei havaittu tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4 koettuun osaamiseen (p>0.05). Sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalan AMK-opettajien kokemuksissa yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaamisestaan ei ollut tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 eroa (p>0.05) opettajanty\u00f6n koulutusalojen v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Sen sijaan tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaamisessa kuntoutus- ja terveysalan opettajat kokivat osaamisensa paremmaksi sosiaalialan opettajiin verraten (p<0.05).\nTutkielman tulosten perusteella kuntoutusalan AMK-opettajien yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaaminen sek\u00e4 tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaaminen on varsin yhten\u00e4ist\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalojen AMK-opettajien yhteisty\u00f6- ja verkosto-osaaminen n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyy yhten\u00e4isen\u00e4, joten alojen koulutuksen ja opettajankoulutuksen voidaan olettaa antavan hyv\u00e4t ja yhdenvertaiset l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohdat n\u00e4ille osaamisalueille. Sosiaalialan AMK-opettajat arvioivat kuitenkin tutkimus- ja kehitt\u00e4misosaamisensa heikommaksi, kuin terveys- ja kuntoutusalan AMK-opettajat. Tulokset ovat suuntaa antavia ja aiheesta tarvitaan lis\u00e4\u00e4 tutkimusta kuntoutusalan AMK-opettajien vastaajam\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n ollessa pieni (n=28) verrattuna sosiaali- (n=68) ja terveysalan (n=214) AMK-opettajiin. Tuloksia voidaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 AMK-opettajien opettajankoulutuksen ja t\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksen kehitt\u00e4misess\u00e4, sek\u00e4 sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalojen opettajien ja opiskelijoiden moniammatillisen toiminnan kehitt\u00e4misess\u00e4 alojen toimintakulttuuriin ja osaamiseen liittyv\u00e4t mahdolliset yht\u00e4l\u00e4isyydet ja eroavaisuudet huomioiden.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Global changes, the need for national and international collaboration and the wide field of operations \u2013 including applied research, development and innovations along with teaching \u2013 set skill requirements for social care, health care and rehabilitation teachers working in universities of applied sciences. The aim of this Master\u2019s thesis was to examine how rehabilitation teachers in Finland, specifically in universities of applied sciences, view their skills in the areas of collaboration, networking, research and development and if there is a connection between the length of one\u2019s work experience and the skill level. Additionally, the aim was to compare if rehabilitation teachers view their skills differently than social or health care teachers working in universities of applied sciences.\nThis study was conducted as a part of the \u201cTerOpe \u2013 Competent educators together!\u201d project. The data was collected by way of an online survey from Finnish social care, health care and rehabilitation teachers working in universities of applied sciences and vocational institutions in the Autumn of 2018. A four-point Likert Scale was used to define one\u2019s views in their skills in finances, management and leadership, communication, interaction and networking, substance knowledge and ethical issues, research, development and innovation, pedagogics and cultural and societal activities with the value of 4 equating to a high skill level and the value of 1 being low. A total of 422 teachers from 21 universities of applied sciences and from 7 vocational institutions responded to the survey. The focus of this thesis was to analyze how teachers of universities of applied sciences in the field of rehabilitation (n=28) viewed their skills regarding collaboration and networking as well as research and development. The methods used were frequency analysis, correlation analysis and cross tabulation. Additionally, the skills of social care, health care and rehabilitation teachers\u2019 working in universities of applied sciences (n=310) were compared with one-way and two-way analysis of variance.\nThe rehabilitation teachers viewed their own skills in collaboration and networking (mean 3.47, SD 0.376) and research and development (mean 3.63, SD 0.319) to be good. There was a statistically significant positive connection (p=0.001) between collaboration and networking skills and research and development skills. No statistically significant connection (p>0.05) was found between work experience from the field being taught or as a teacher and how the teachers viewed their skills. Teachers of social care, health care and rehabilitation viewed their skills in collaboration and networking very similarly (p>0.05) while rehabilitation and health care teachers estimated their skills in research and development better than social care teachers (p<0.05). \nAccording to the results, the skills of rehabilitation teachers in collaboration and networking as well as research and development are quite uniform. Also, the collaboration and networking skills seem uniform between the social care, health care and rehabilitation teachers. This leads to the conclusion that education in these fields and teacher education provide a solid and equal ground for these skills. Still, the social care teachers viewed their research and development skills weaker than health care and rehabilitation teachers. The results are indicative, and more research is needed due to the small sample size of rehabilitation teachers (n=28) compared to social care (n=68) and health care (n=214) teachers. The results of this study can be utilized when developing teacher education and further education of teachers of universities of applied sciences.
