Digitalisaation ja informaatioteknologian kehityksen seurauksena ty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6t ovat nopeatempoisia ja muuttuvia ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden on sopeuduttava t\u00e4h\u00e4n muutokseen. Ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t voivat kokea ty\u00f6per\u00e4isen stressin lis\u00e4ksi teknologiasta aiheutuvaa stressi\u00e4 eli teknostressi\u00e4. Ty\u00f6per\u00e4inen stressi sek\u00e4 teknostressi vaikuttavat ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n hyvinvointiin ja tuottavuuteen. Organisaatioissa ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin on huomattu vaikuttavan ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n suorituskykyyn sek\u00e4 sitoutumiseen. Johtamisen tutkimuksessa on huomattu, ett\u00e4 johtamisella on suora vaikutus ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n motivaatioon ja hyvinvointiin. Johtamisen tutkimuksessa tarkoituksena on ollut kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 johtamista siten, ett\u00e4 johtajan toiminta on ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4 kohtaan tyydytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 ja motivoivaa. Teknostressin tutkimus taas on keskittynyt teknostressin hallintakeinoihin sek\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ihin, jotka sit\u00e4 aiheuttavat yksil\u00f6lle. Aikaisempaa tutkimusta liittyen teknostressin ja johtamisen yhteyteen ei ole paljoa. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena on tarjota perusteluja teknostressitutkimuksen laajentamiselle eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmiin. Johtamisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulma on rajattu transformationaaliseen johtamiseen ja varsinkin osallistavaan ja valmentavaan johtamiseen keskeisin\u00e4 johtamisen tapoina. Tutkielmassa m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4\u00e4n teknostressin ja transformationaalisen johtamisen k\u00e4sitteet ja pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n uutta informaatiota johtamisen vaikutuksista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n teknostressin ilmaantumiseen. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tuloksista voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 transformationaalisella johtamisella on lievent\u00e4vi\u00e4 vaikutuksia ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden teknostressiin. Jatkuva ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n koulutus, autonomia ty\u00f6n teossa ja teknologian k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 sek\u00e4 emotionaalinen tuki ovat lievent\u00e4vi\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4, joilla ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden teknostressi\u00e4 voidaan hallita. Working environments are fast-paced and dynamic due to digitalization and the development of information technology.\nEmployees must adapt to the changes. In addition to work-related stress, employees may experience stress due to the use technology. Work-related stress and technostress affect the employee's well-being. It has been found that work\nwell-being affects the employee's efficiency and commitment to the organization. Management research has found that leadership has a direct impact on employee motivation and well-being. The purpose of management research has\nbeen to develop management in a direction that the manager's actions are satisfying and motivating for the employee. Technostress research, on the other hand, has focused on the technostress management and the factors that cause it\nin the individual. There is not much previous research of the connections between technostress and leadership. The aim of this paper is to provide a reasoning for extending technostress research to different perspectives. In this thesis\nthe leadership perspective is limited to transformational leadership. Participatory and coaching leadership are reviewed as key leadership styles. This paper defines the concepts of technostress and transformational leadership. The purpose is to find new information about the impact of leadership style to the employees\u2019 technostress and its incidence. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has a relieving effect on the technostress of employees. Continuous employee training, autonomy of the use of technology and emotional support are mitigating factors that can be used to manage employees\u2019 technostress.
