T\u00e4m\u00e4 uusi ja suurilta osin viel\u00e4 tutkimaton tieteenala tunnetaan nimell\u00e4 polaritonkemia, ja siihen liittyv\u00e4 perustutkimus jota t\u00e4m\u00e4kin tutkimus edustaa luo t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6n mahdollisissa k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n sovellutuksissa tarvittavaa tietoa.\n\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa seurataan vahvasti kytketyn systeemin emission kehityst\u00e4 kytkent\u00e4vahvuutta kasvatettaessa vahvan kytkenn\u00e4n alueelta ultra vahvan kytkenn\u00e4n alueelle. Vahva kytkent\u00e4 aikaansaatiin R6G v\u00e4riainemolekyylin, sek\u00e4 optisen Fabry\u2013P\u00e9rot kaviteetin avulla aikaansadun optisen resonanssimoodin v\u00e4lille. This phenomen can be used to modify the the valence electron energy states of the material taking part into the coupling, and thus modify its chemical properties. This young and still for large parts undiscovered field of study is known as polariton chemistry, and the fundamental research related to it such as this thesis produce valuable information needed for the development of its practical applications.\n\t\n\tThis study follows the emission evolution of a strongly coupled system, when the coupling strength is increased from the strong coupling regime into the ultrastrong coupling regime. The coupled system consists of an ensemble of R6G-dye molecules coupled to an optical resonance mode of Fabry\u2013P\u00e9rot cavity. The Rabi-split energies, propotional to coupling strength, determined from the samples fabricated for this thesis were $0,2518 \\: \\si{\\electronvolt}$, $0,4836 \\: \\si{\\electronvolt}$ and $0,6408 \\: \\si{\\electronvolt}$. The emission is observed to follow the shape of the absorption of the coupled system.
