Sen kohteena ovat v\u00e4litt\u00f6m\u00e4sti toiset pelaajat ja v\u00e4lillisesti pelien oikeudenmukaisuudesta vastaavat pelipalveluntarjoajat. Huijaamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen m\u00e4\u00e4rittelyss\u00e4 keskeisess\u00e4 roolissa ovat pelis\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6t. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvata pelaajien kokemuksia salaisella sopimuksella huijaamisesta verkkopeleiss\u00e4. Pelaajat ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4v\u00e4t erityyppiset salaiset sopimukset l\u00e4hes samalla tavalla. Alle puolet verkkopelaajista huijaa salaisella sopimuksella ja naisten osuus on miehi\u00e4 pienempi. Selke\u00e4n salaisen sopimuksen yhdist\u00e4minen piilotettuun asenteeseen ja informaation jakamiseen olivat yleisimm\u00e4t yhdistelm\u00e4t salaisel-la sopimuksella huijaamisessa. Sopimussis\u00e4lt\u00f6in\u00e4 piilotettu asenne ja informaation jakaminen olivat kesken\u00e4\u00e4n yht\u00e4 suosittuja. Suosituin huijaamiskumppani oli toinen pelaaja. Syit\u00e4 taustalla olivat halu auttaa tai neuvoa, rahal-lisen tai vastaavan hy\u00f6dyn tavoittelu, voittaminen, etuly\u00f6ntiaseman saavutta-minen, huvin vuoksi huijaaminen ja oman joukon ulkopuolisen karkottaminen pelist\u00e4. Salaisella sopimuksella itse huijanneet tunnistavat helpommin huijarit, mutta alle puolet raportoi huijaamisesta. Helpoimmin tunnistettiin tilanteet, joissa sopimussis\u00e4lt\u00f6n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin informaation jakamista. Salaisella sopimuk-sella huijaamista pidettiin helppona toteuttaa. Pelipalveluntarjoajien keskeisi-n\u00e4 salaisen sopimuksen k\u00e4yt\u00f6n est\u00e4miskeinoina koettiin pelimekaniikan suunnittelu, valvonta, raportointi ja seuraamusten asettaminen. Yleisesti kiinni j\u00e4\u00e4minen koettiin ep\u00e4todenn\u00e4k\u00f6iseksi ja seuraamukset v\u00e4h\u00e4isiksi. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli saada tietoa salaisella sopimuksella huijaamisesta verkkope-leiss\u00e4 pelaajien n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin internetkyselyll\u00e4, johon vastasi 71 henkil\u00f6\u00e4. Suurin osa vastaajista oli suomalaisia (64,8 %), mutta vastaajia oli my\u00f6s ymp\u00e4ri maailman. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus toteutettiin ensisijaisesti kvalitatiivisena tutkimuksena, jota t\u00e4ydennettiin kvantitatiivisin menetelmin. Avoimien kysymysten vastauusaineiston k\u00e4sittelyss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin apuna tyypitte-ly\u00e4. Tulokset voivat tarjota avauksia verkkopelipalveluntarjoajille, vaikuttaa pelaajien huijaamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen ja antaa pelaajille mahdollisuuksia tunnistaa huijarit helpommin. It targets other players di-rectly, indirectly the game service providers, responsible for fairness in the games. The rules of the game play a key role in defining cheating behaviour. The purpose of this study was to describe players \u2019experiences of cheating by collusion in online games. Players understand different types of collusion in almost the same way. Less than half of online players cheat by collusion and the proportion of women is lower than that of men. Combining express collu-sion with concealed stance and information sharing were the most common combinations in cheating by collusion. As content of the agreement, concealed stance and information sharing were equally popular. The most popular part-ner to collude with was another player. The reasons for cheating by collusion were the desire to help or advise, the pursuit of financial or other gain, the de-sire to win, the desire to gain an advantage, colluding for fun and the expulsion of an outsider from the game. The players who have colluded themselves are more likely to identify other colluders, but less than half report cheating by col-lusion. Situations where information sharing was used as the content of collu-sion were most easily identified. The players found cheating by collusion easy to implement. Preventive gaming mechanics design, real-time monitoring, re-porting, and sanctioning are perceived as essential means game service pro-viders use to prevent cheating by collusion. Generally, it can be considered that the risk of getting caught is low and the consequences minor. The aim of the study was to obtain information about cheating by collusion in online games from the players\u2019 perspective. The research material was collected through an internet survey, which was answered by 71 people. Most of the respondents were Finns (64,8 %), but there were also respondents from all over the world. The response material was treated mainly with a qualitative method, which was supplemented by quantitative methods. Typing was used to help handle the open-ended questions. The results can provide openings for online gaming companies, influence players' cheating behaviour, and allow players to identify cheaters more easily.
