Jotta ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n jalkautus olisi onnistunutta, tarvitsee henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitoutua siihen. \n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4 Pro Gradu -tutkielma tutkii johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4 henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitouttamiseksi ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4n, kun sit\u00e4 jalkautetaan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n yrityksess\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n vuoksi tutkielman teoreettinen viitekehys koostuu muutosjohtamisen ja henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitoutumisen kirjallisuudesta. Molemmat n\u00e4ist\u00e4 aloista ovat laajasti tutkittuja, mutta koska organisaatiokonteksti on aina kehittyv\u00e4, on muutosjohtamisen ja henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitouttamisen k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen tutkiminen merkityksellist\u00e4 yh\u00e4 t\u00e4n\u00e4p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus t\u00e4ht\u00e4\u00e4 tuottamaan tietoa tehokkaista johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ist\u00e4 henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitouttamiseksi yrityksen ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4n ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ja johtajien n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. \n\nTutkimus on suoritettu laadullisena tutkimuksena ja aineisto on ker\u00e4tty kymmenell\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ja johtajien osittain j\u00e4sennellyll\u00e4 haastattelulla tutkitussa yrityksess\u00e4. Aineisto on analysoitu teema-analyysin avulla, ja tuloksia on verrattu aikaisempiin tutkimustuloksiin.\n\nTeema-analyysissa on kehitetty teemoja kolmessa kategoriassa: (1) tehokkaat johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6t henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitouttamiseksi, (2) esteet sitoutumiselle muutokseen, ja (3) muut tunnistetut henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitoutumiseen vaikuttavat tekij\u00e4t. Kehitetyt teemat p\u00e4\u00e4tuloksille, tehokkaille johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ille henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n sitouttamiseksi, ovat johdon havaittu sitoutuminen, mahdollisuus vaikuttaa, vahva vuorovaikutus, selke\u00e4t toimintaohjeet, j\u00e4rkev\u00e4t perustelut ja k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n mahdollisuudet. Tutkimuksen tulosten pohjalta ehdotuksia johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ille on tehty ja mahdollisuuksia tulevaisuuden tutkimukselle esitetty.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "For humankind to have a fighting chance in overcoming its biggest obstacles and keeping climate warming to 1,5 \u00baC above pre-industrial levels organizations all around the world need to do their part by evolving to be environmentally sustainable in their own operations. One widely used way to implement environmental sustainability in an organization is to implement an environmental management system. And in order for a company to successfully implement an environmental management system, it needs to have its employees committed to environmental management. \n\nThis thesis studies managerial practices for creation of employee commitment when an environmental management system is first being implemented, and therefore the theoretical framework of this study consists of change management and employee commitment literature. Both of these fields have been widely researched, but since organizational context is ever evolving, studying practices of change management and employee commitment is relevant even today. The aim of this study is to provide insight considering managerial practices for the creation of employee commitment towards environmental management from perspectives of both employees and managers. \n\nThis study was conducted using a qualitative research method, and the data was collected through ten semi-structured interviews of employees and managers in the case company when an environmental management system was being implemented. The data has been analysed using thematic analysis.\n\nIn the thematic analysis themes have been developed in three categories: (1) effective managerial practices for employee commitment, (2) barriers for commitment to change, and (3) other identified factors of employee commitment. The developed themes for the main research findings, effective managerial practices for employee commitment, are perceived managerial commitment, possibility to influence, strong communication, clear instructions, sensible reasoning, and practical possibilities.
