Lapsen mielen hyvinvointi rakentuu h\u00e4nt\u00e4 hoitavien aikuisten mielenterveyden varassa. Lasten parissa toimivat ammattilaiset ovat t\u00e4rke\u00e4ss\u00e4 asemassa lasten \u00e4\u00e4nen esille tuomisessa ja lasten mielenterveytt\u00e4 tukevan hyvinvointity\u00f6n tekij\u00f6in\u00e4. L\u00e4hetem\u00e4\u00e4rien kasvu lastenpsykiatrian erikoissairaanhoidossa kertoo kuitenkin avosektorin riitt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4st\u00e4 mielenterveysty\u00f6n osaamisesta ja puutteista kyvyss\u00e4 vastata ehk\u00e4isev\u00e4n ja varhaisen tuen tarpeisiin lasten mielenterveytt\u00e4 koskien. \nT\u00e4m\u00e4n pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena on kuvata lasten parissa ty\u00f6skentelevien sivistystoimen, sosiaalialan ja terveydenhuollon ammattilaisten mielen taitoja sek\u00e4 kokemuksia heille tarjotusta mentalisaation, tunne\u00e4lyn ja resilienssin kehitt\u00e4miseen t\u00e4ht\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 koulutuksesta. Tutkimuksen aineistona k\u00e4ytettiin koulutukseen osallistuneiden tuottamia oppimiskertomuksia (n=21), jotka analysoitiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en, sek\u00e4 heid\u00e4n antamiaan kyselylomakevastauksia koulutusta koskien (n=24), joiden numeraalisista arvioista laskettiin keskiarvot. Oppimiskertomuksissa mielen taidot n\u00e4kyiv\u00e4t teoreettisena hallintana, k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n toimintana ja keskener\u00e4isyyten\u00e4. Koulutus itsess\u00e4\u00e4n n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyi osallistujien kuvauksissa p\u00e4\u00e4osin my\u00f6nteisesti koettuna kasvun paikkana. Osallistujat kokivat koulutuksen kehitt\u00e4neen heid\u00e4n mielen taitojaan ja mahdollistaneen siten sek\u00e4 ammatillisen kehittymisen ett\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kohtaisen kasvun. My\u00f6nteisten kokemusten lis\u00e4ksi osallistujat kokivat koulutukseen liittyneen my\u00f6s haasteita, muun muassa kirjallisen materiaalin paljous koettiin raskaana. \nMy\u00f6s lasten parissa toimivilla ammattilaisilla on tunnistamattomia ja k\u00e4sittelem\u00e4tt\u00f6mi\u00e4 mielen sis\u00e4isi\u00e4 tunnekysymyksi\u00e4, jotka est\u00e4v\u00e4t heid\u00e4n mielens\u00e4 ihanteellista toimintaa. Oman mielen ty\u00f6st\u00e4minen on kuitenkin edellytys heid\u00e4n asiakkainaan olevien lasten ja heid\u00e4n vanhempiensa auttamiseksi. Samalla se tukee heid\u00e4n omaa hyvinvointiaan ja ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 jaksamista. Mielen taitojen kehitt\u00e4miseen t\u00e4ht\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4n koulutuksen tulisi olla kestoltaan tarpeeksi pitk\u00e4, sill\u00e4 aivot kehittyv\u00e4t ja muovautuvat hitaasti toistojen ja harjoittelun my\u00f6t\u00e4. Mielen hyvinvointia edist\u00e4v\u00e4 vuorovaikutus ja tunnety\u00f6skentely edellytt\u00e4v\u00e4t aikaa, mik\u00e4 tulisi ottaa huomioon ty\u00f6prosessien suunnittelussa ja toteuttamisessa. Lasten parissa toimivien ammattilaisten mielen taitoja kehitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 koulutusta menetelm\u00e4n\u00e4\u0308 lasten mielen hyvinvoinnin edist\u00e4misess\u00e4\u0308 tulisi joka tapauksessa tutkia enemm\u00e4n, jotta saataisiin luotettavampi kuva koulutuksen mahdollisuuksista, haasteista ja vaikuttavuudesta.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Mentalization, emotional intelligence, and resilience are mental skills which can be developed to promote mental well-being. The mental well-being of a child is built on the mental health of the adults taking care for the child. Professionals working with children play an important role in bringing out the voices and the best interests of children. However, there is increasing awareness about their ability to respond to the needs of preventive and early support for children's mental health issues being insufficient. \nThe aim of this master\u00b4s thesis is to describe the mental skills of professionals of education, social work and health care working with children, as well as their experiences over the education of mentalization, emotional intelligence and resilience that was aimed to increase the well-being of children and the well-being of the professionals themselves. The material for the study consisted of the learning stories of the participants in the training group (n=21), which were analyzed using content analysis. In addition, the numerical evaluations of the questionnaires filled in by the participants regarding the training program were used as material (n=24). \nIn the learning stories mental skills were seen as management of theoretical knowledge, practical competence and incompleteness. The participants felt that the training developed their mental skills and thus enabled both professional development and personal growth. Even though the participants felt that the training was mainly pleasing, they thought that there were some targets for development. For example, the amount of the written material given in the training was experienced to be too abundant. \nJust like any of us, the professionals working with children have unidentified emotional issues that prevent their mind from functioning optimally. Working on the content of their own mind not only supports their well-being, but it should be a prerequisite for helping their clients. Training to develop mental skills should be long enough, as the brain develops and shapes slowly through repetition and training. Interaction that promotes mental well-being requires time, which should be taken into account in the planning and implementation of work processes.
