Tutkielmassa m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s aiheeseen liittyvien k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4, kuten digitoinnin ja digitalisaation k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4. Digitaalinen transformaatio vaatii strategista suunnittelua ja tutkielmassa k\u00e4sitell\u00e4\u00e4n strategisia ulottuvuuksia viitekehyksen avulla. Tutkielmassa esitell\u00e4\u00e4n digitaalisen transformaation strategisia ulottuvuuksia, joita ovat: teknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6, arvonluonnin muutokset, rakenteelliset muutokset sek\u00e4 taloudelliset tekij\u00e4t. Ilmi\u00f6n laajuuden takia muutoksia tapahtuu yritysten rakenteissa asti, eik\u00e4 ole olemassa yht\u00e4 oikeaa tapaa digitaaliseen transformaatioon, vaan kyseist\u00e4 prosessia tulee tarkastella tapauskohtaisesti. Kuitenkin edell\u00e4 mainitut strategian ulottuvuudet tulee ottaa huomioon yrityksest\u00e4 tai toimialasta huolimatta. Digital transformation is about to enable major business improvements, such as enhancing customer experience, streamlining operations, or creating new business models, with the use of new digital technologies. Digital transformation is a process, where with the help of a technology will build value to company. This thesis also defines related concepts, such as digitization and digitalization. Digital transformation requires strategic planning, and with the help of a framework strategic dimensions will be dealt with. This thesis presents the strategic dimensions of digital transformation, which are: use of technology, changes in value creation, structural changes, and financial aspects. Changes affect company structures, due to the scale of the digital transformation. There is no one right way to digital transformation, but digital transformation should be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, the dimensions of the strategy mentioned above must be taken into consideration regardless of the company or industry. This thesis found that technology is in heart of digital transformation, but still technology is just an important tool for value creation. Value creation, not technology must be the main reason of a company\u2019s digital transformation.
