Teknologia on kasvattanut organisaatioiden ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden tehokkuutta. Teknologian avulla on voitu automatisoida useita manuaalisia ty\u00f6vaiheita. Teknologian k\u00e4yt\u00f6ll\u00e4 on my\u00f6s negatiivisia seurauksia. Teknologia voi aiheuttaa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4ll\u00e4 teknostressi\u00e4, joka on teknologian k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 aiheutuvaa stressi\u00e4. Teknostressin negatiiviset vaikutukset vaikuttavat suoraan ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n ty\u00f6skentelyyn, esimerkiksi se voi alentaa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n tehokkuutta. Mik\u00e4li ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n tehokkuus laskee, t\u00e4st\u00e4 k\u00e4rsii niin yksil\u00f6 kuin organisaatiokin. Tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n ty\u00f6arkeen vaikuttavat merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 kaksi teknostressitekij\u00e4\u00e4, jotka ovat kirjallisuuden mukaan keskeytykset ja ylikuormitus. Aikaisemmat teknostressitutkimukset ovat tunnistaneet teknostressin aiheuttajat sek\u00e4 niiden hallintakeinot. Teknostressikontekstissa ei olla kuitenkaan tutkittu tehokkaita ty\u00f6tapoja. Tehokkaita ty\u00f6tapoja on tutkittu aikaisemmin niin henkil\u00f6- kuin organisaatiokontekstissa. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus l\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4 teknostressitutkimusten ja tehokkuutta k\u00e4sittelevien tutkimusten kuilua. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa tutkitaan tehokkaita ty\u00f6tapoja sek\u00e4 tapoja, joilla ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4 voi ehk\u00e4ist\u00e4 ja hallita teknoylikuormitusta sek\u00e4 keskeytyksi\u00e4, jotka tapahtuvat ty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. Tutkimuksessa tuodaan esille ylikuormitusta ja keskeytyksi\u00e4 aiheuttavat tekij\u00e4t ja n\u00e4iden tekij\u00f6iden aiheuttamat negatiiviset vaikutukset haastateltaviin. Tutkimuksessa tuodaan my\u00f6s esille haastateltavien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4t teknostressin hallintakeinot sek\u00e4 tehokkaiksi koetut ty\u00f6tavat. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tutkimuskysymykset ovat:\n1. Kuinka ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4 voi hallita teknologian aiheuttamaa ylikuormitusta sek\u00e4 keskeytyksi\u00e4?\n2. Kuinka ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4 voi parantaa omaa tehokkuuttansa ty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4?\n3. Mitk\u00e4 ovat tehokkaita ty\u00f6tapoja?\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen aineisto hankittiin puolistrukturoidulla haastattelumenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimuksen tulokset on julkaistu luvussa viisi. Tulososiossa tuodaan esille ylikuormituksen ja keskeytysten seuraukset sek\u00e4 niiden hallintakeinot. Hallintakeinot jaettiin ongelma- ja tunnekeskeisiin hallintakeinoihin. Tulososiossa esitell\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s haastateltavien mielest\u00e4 tehokkaat ty\u00f6tavat. Technology has improved the methods of working in many cases. However, with all the benefits technology can offer, it can also have serious negative effects on the user. Technology can cause technostress. Technostress is a stress reaction that happens because the use of technology. The negative effects of technostress can affect negatively to employee\u2019s efficiency at workplace. If the employee\u2019s efficiency drops, it can affect negatively in the organization and within the employee. The two major techno stressors in knowledge workers day to day work life are techno-overload and interruptions. Previous studies have acknowledged the causes of technostress and how it can be controlled. However, technostress has not been studied in the context of efficiency. Efficiency has been studied in the context of efficient working methods and efficient management methods in the organization. This study will bring closer the study areas of efficiency and technostress. In this study the main object is to study efficient working practices, that will minimize techno-overloading and interruptions in the workplace. This study will publish the cause of technostress, the effects it has on person, the methods of controlling the techno stressors and the methods that the interviewees think are efficient. The questions that this study aims to answer are:\n1. How can the employee control the negative effects of techno-overload and interruptions?\n2. How can the employee be more efficient in the working environment?\n3. What are efficient working methods?\nThe data of this study was collected by using semi-structured interviews. The results of this study are summarized in paragraph five. The results will also show the sources of techno-overload and interruptions. The methods of control-ling techno-overload and interruptions are also released in paragraph five. The methods of controlling the two techno stressors have been divided in to two groups, problem-focused methods, and emotion-focused methods. The para-graph five will also summarize the efficient working methods.
