Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin nousevatko itsem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4misteorian motivaatiotekij\u00e4t autonomia, kyvykkyys ja yhteis\u00f6llisyys esiin, tukemalla oppilaan itseohjautuvuutta urheilukasvatusmallin tuomien roolien avulla alakoulussa. P\u00e4\u00e4paino tutkimuksessa oli urheilukasvatusmallin oppilaskoutsausmetodissa, jossa oppilaan itseohjautuvuutta lis\u00e4ttiin erilaisten vastuuteht\u00e4vien ja roolien avulla. Tutkimusteht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 l\u00e4hestyttiin kolmen tutkimuskysymyksen avulla, joissa tarkasteltiin millaisia sis\u00e4ist\u00e4 motivaatiota edist\u00e4vi\u00e4 autonomian, kyvykkyyden ja yhteis\u00f6llisyyden kokemuksia oppilailla on eri toimintarooleista urheilukasvatusjaksolla. \nTutkimus oli luonteeltaan laadullinen teorial\u00e4ht\u00f6inen tutkimus, jossa aineistonkeruumenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 toimi teemahaastattelu ja aineiston analysointimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 fenomenografia. Tutkimus toteutettiin lukuvuonna 2019-2020 yhdess\u00e4 Uudenmaan peruskouluista. Tutkimuksen kohderyhm\u00e4ksi valikoituivat alakoulun 5. luokan oppilaat, joista haastatteluun osallistui kuusi oppilasta. Tutkimusjakson suunnittelu toteutettiin yhdess\u00e4 oppilaiden kanssa marraskuussa 2019. Lajiharjoittelujakso ja valmennus k\u00e4ynnistettiin marras-joulukuun vaiheessa 2019. Urheilujakson sarja ja loppuottelut pelattiin tammi-helmikuussa 2020 ja haastatteluaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin huhti-toukoluussa 2020. \nTutkimustulosten perusteella urheilukasvatusjakson aikana oppilaan sis\u00e4inen motivaatio kasvoi tyydytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 itsem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4misteorian kolme perustarvetta: autonomian, kyvykkyyden ja yhteis\u00f6llisyyden. Oppilaan autonomian kokemus kasvoi erityisesti valmentajan roolissa toimittaessa, valintoja ja p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksi\u00e4 teht\u00e4ess\u00e4. Oppilaan kyvykkyys kasvoi oppilaan toimiessa onnistuneesti urheilukasvatusmallin tuomissa eri rooleissa ja kokiessaan olevansa kyvyk\u00e4s teht\u00e4viss\u00e4\u00e4n. Oppilaan yhteis\u00f6llisyyden kokemus kasvoi urheilujakson aikana oppilaan saadessa olla osana joukkuetta ja koko ryhm\u00e4\u00e4. Tutkimustulosten perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 Siedentopin urheilukasvatusmallin avulla voidaan edist\u00e4\u00e4 oppilaan itseohjautuvuutta ja sis\u00e4isen motivaation syntymist\u00e4 Decin ja Ryanin itsem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4misteorian psykologiset perustarpeet t\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimustulosten perusteella urheilukasvatusmallin oppilaskoutsausmetodi tuki oppilaan sis\u00e4isen motivaation syntymist\u00e4.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this study was to investigate the realization of the motivational factors of the Self-Determination Theory in the Sport Education Model. The study examined whether the motivational factors of the Theory of Self-Determination emerge in autonomy, competence, and relatedness, supporting student self-determination through the roles brought by the Sports Educational Model in primary school. The focus on the study was in the Student Coaching Method of the Sport Educational Model in which the student self-determination was increased through various responsibilities and roles. The research task was approached through three research questions; what kind of experiences of autonomy, competence and relatedness students have that promote internal motivation in different activity roles in the period of Sport Education. \nThe research was the qualitative theory-based study, the method of data collection was a thematic interview and the method of data analysis was phenomenography. This study was implemented and carried out in the academic year of 2019-2020 in one of the primary schools in Southern Finland. The target group of the study was the 5th grade students out of whom six students participated in the interview. The planning of the research period was carried out together with the students in November 2019. The sport training period and coaching was started in November-December 2019. The series and finals of the Sports Education period were ran in January-February 2020 and the interview data was collected in April-May 2020. \nBased on the results, during the period of Sport Education, the student\u2019s intrinsic motivation increased by fulfilling the three basic needs of the Theory of Self-Determination: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The experience of autonomy increased especially in the role of Student Coach while making choices and decisions. The student's competence increased as the student experienced being competent and successful in the various roles and tasks of the Sports Education Model. The student's relatedness increased during the Sport Education period as the student experienced to be part of a team and the whole group. \nBased on the research results, it can be stated that Siedentop\u2019s Sport Education Model promotes student self-determination and internal motivation by fulfilling the basic psychological needs of Deci and Ryan\u2019s Theory of Self-Determination.
