Vierailijamäärän kasvuonmielestäni niin suuri ja merkittävä, että laajempi kirjallisuuskatsaus hakukoneoptimoinnin hyödyistä on paikallaan. Tutkielma keskittyy suomalaisten pienten ja keski-suurten yritysten(pk-yritysten) markkinoinnin tehostamiseen hakukoneoptimointia hyödyntäen. Tutkielman tutkimuskysymys on: Mikä on hakukoneoptimoinnin vaikutus pk-yrityksen verkkomarkkinoinnin tehostamisessa? Tutkimuskysymystä avataan aluksi määrittelemällä hakukoneoptimointiin liittyvät asiat, kuten hakukoneet, hakukonemarkkinointi ja itse hakukoneoptimointi. Määrittelyjen jälkeen syvennytään ihmisten internetkäyttäytymiseen ja markkinointiin yleisellä tasolla. Lopuksi selvitetään, mitkä ovat parhaat hakukonemarkkinoinnin keinot pk-yritykselle. Search engine optimization increases the number of website visitors by up to 110%. Doing search engine optimization for a company's website is very important nowadays, as it helps to get more potential customers for the company and thus also increases the company's sales revenue. The increase in the number of visitors is, in my opinion, so great and significant that I wanted to do a bachelor's thesis on this topic. The thesis focuses on enhancing the marketing of Finnish SMEs, i.e.small and medium-sized enterprises, using search engine optimization. The research question is: What is the effect of search engine optimization on improving the online marketing of an SME? The research question is first opened by defining issues related to search engine optimization, such as search engines, search engine marketing and search engine optimization itself. After the definitions, we delve deeper into people’s internet behavior and marketing. Then find out what are the best search engine marketing tools for an SME.
