Silti tietotekniikan projektiopetuksen kirjallisuudessa ei n\u00e4yt\u00e4 olevan kartoitusta t\u00e4m\u00e4n hetken ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n keskittyv\u00e4st\u00e4 tutkimuksesta eik\u00e4 tutkimusalueen ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6tutkimuksen nykyist\u00e4 tilaa siten t\u00e4ysin tunneta.\n\nTAVOITE: Tutkielman tavoitteena on muodostaa yleiskuva tietotekniikan projektiopetuksen kontekstissa julkaistusta ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6t\u00e4 k\u00e4sittelev\u00e4st\u00e4 kirjallisuudesta sek\u00e4 tunnistaa v\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkittuja alueita ja sopivia aiheita tarkemmille kirjallisuuskatsauksille.\n\nMENETELM\u00c4: Tutkielmassa selvitettiin systemaattisella kirjallisuuskartoituksella, kuinka ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6n ilmi\u00f6it\u00e4 kolmannen asteen koulutuksessa tietotekniikan projektimuotoisen oppimisen tutkimusalueella on viimeisen vuosikymmenen aikana k\u00e4sitelty. Systemaattinen kirjallisuuskartoitus on hy\u00f6dyllinen menetelm\u00e4 tutkimuskysymyst\u00e4 koskevan tiedon objektiiviseen tiivist\u00e4miseen ja luokitteluun.\n\nTULOKSET: Tutkimusten m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n perusteella suosituimmat tutkimusaiheet ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6n osa-alueiden osalta kohdistuvat ryhm\u00e4n arvioimiseen, muodostamiseen, kommunikointiin ja yhteisty\u00f6h\u00f6n. Tyypillisin kartoituksen tutkimus oli yksitt\u00e4isell\u00e4 kurssilla tehty tapaustutkimus, jossa k\u00e4ytettiin aineiston ker\u00e4\u00e4miseen haastatteluja tai kyselyit\u00e4. Suurin osa tutkimuksista on julkaistu tieteenalan konferensseissa.\n\nJOHTOP\u00c4\u00c4T\u00d6KSET: 4508:sta hakustrategian tuottamasta artikkelista valittiin 168 kirjallisuuskartoituksen kannalta relevanttia artikkelia. Tulosten avulla p\u00e4\u00e4stiin johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksiin ryhm\u00e4ty\u00f6n tutkimusta k\u00e4sittelev\u00e4n kirjallisuuden luonteesta ja tunnistettiin joitakin tutkimusaukkoja. Yet there does not appear to be a proper mapping of the current group work research in the computer science project education literature. Thus, the current state of group work research in the research area is somewhat unknown.\n\nOBJECTIVE: The aim of this master's thesis is to form an overview of the computer science group work literature published in the context of project-based learning and to identify research gaps as well as suitable topics for more detailed literature reviews.\n\nMETHOD: A systematic mapping study was used to investigate how group work in tertiary education is addressed in the literature of computer science project-based learning during the last decade. A systematic mapping study is a useful method for objectively summarizing and classifying research information concerning a research question.\n\nRESULTS: The most popular group work domains, based on the number of studies focusing on them, are related to the assessment of groups, group formation, communication, and cooperation. A case study using interviews or questionnaires to gather data from a single course was the most representative type of a study of this thesis. The studies have mainly been published in a scientific conference.\n\nCONCLUSIONS: Out of 4508 initial results generated by the search strategy, 168 papers relevant to the mapping study were selected. The results enabled us to reach conclusions about the nature of the literature on group work research and to identify some research gaps. Among the domains of group work, research on trust and justice have received almost no attention at all.
