| Yhteenveto: | Digitaalisuus ja digitalisaatio ovat nopeasti kasvavia globaaleja ilmiöitä nykyaikana ja niiden vaikutukset ovat levinneet lähes kaikille yhteiskunnan osaalueille. Ilmiön tyypillisimpiä vaikutuksia ovat elektronisten laitteiden ja järjestelmien kehittyminen, sekä uusien palveluiden syntyminen. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kirjallisuuskatsauksen avulla tarkemmin, miten vaikutukset tietoteknisestä näkökulmasta näkyvät yhteiskunnassa. Keskeisimpinä tutkimustuloksina todetaan, että digitaalisuuden vaikutukset tehostavat ja automatisoivat yhteiskunnan
toimintoja ja palveluita.
Digitality and digitalization are both rapidly growing global phenomenona in modern era, and their effects have already spread to almost all areas of society. The most typical effects of these phenomenona are the development of electronic
devices and systems, as well as the emergence of new services. This thesis is conducted as a literature review. The purpose of this thesis is to examine, how the effects
of digitality and digitalization can be seen in the society, from the perspective of information technology. The core findings of this thesis is that the effects of digitality
enhance and automate the services and functions in the society
