Moukarin irrottua heitt\u00e4j\u00e4n k\u00e4dest\u00e4, sen lentorata on ilmanvastukseen liittyvi\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 lukuun ottamatta vastaava, kuin muillakin heittokappaleilla. Heittopituuteen vaikuttavat moukarin l\u00e4ht\u00f6nopeus, l\u00e4ht\u00f6korkeus ja l\u00e4ht\u00f6kulma. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 l\u00e4ht\u00f6nopeudella on ylivoimaisesti suurin vaikutus lopputulokseen. Moukarinheiton biomekaanisten muuttujien yksityiskohtainen tarkastelu on lajin eteenp\u00e4inviemisen kannalta ensiarvoisen t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n koko kehon liikeanalyysin avulla heittopituuden kannalta suotuisia teknisi\u00e4 malleja. Samalla tutustutaan aiempiin moukarinheittoa k\u00e4sitteleviin tutkimuksiin. \nTutkimusmenetelm\u00e4t. Analysoidut heitot (n=7) kuvattiin kahdella Panasonic GH-5-videokameralla (180 kuvaa/s) kansainv\u00e4lisess\u00e4 Paavo Nurmi Games -kilpailussa Turussa kes\u00e4kuussa 2017 ja kansallisissa Kalevan Kisoissa (suomenmestaruuskilpailut) Sein\u00e4joella hein\u00e4kuussa 2017. Viidess\u00e4 suorituksessa k\u00e4ytettiin nelj\u00e4n py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksen heittotekniikkaa ja loput kaksi tehtiin kolmella ja viidell\u00e4 py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksell\u00e4, kummallakin yksi heitto. Koko kehon liikeanalyysi (18 pistett\u00e4 + moukarin kuula) tehtiin APAS 3D -liikeanalyysiohjelmistolla 60 kuvaa/s. Analyyseiss\u00e4 pyrittiin l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n yht\u00e4l\u00e4isyyksi\u00e4 ja eroavaisuuksia nelj\u00e4n py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksen heitoista, vertailtiin kahta l\u00e4hes yht\u00e4 pitk\u00e4\u00e4 heittoa, kahta saman heitt\u00e4j\u00e4n erimittaista heittoa sek\u00e4 kolmen, nelj\u00e4n ja viiden py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksen heittoja kesken\u00e4\u00e4n.\nTulokset. Pisin analysoiduista heitoista oli vuoden 2017 maailmantilaston kolmanneksi pisin heitto (82,40 m). Heittopituudet korreloivat eritt\u00e4in vahvasti moukarin l\u00e4ht\u00f6nopeuden kanssa (r=0,98; n=7; p<0,001), jonka vaakakomponentti kehittyi p\u00e4\u00e4osin kahden ensimm\u00e4isen py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksen aikana ja pystykomponentti koko vauhdinoton ajan. Tukivaiheidenaikaisen nopeuden lis\u00e4\u00e4ntymisen kanssa vahvimmin korreloivat lantio-hartia-kulman muutos (r=-0,843; n=56; p<0,001), heitt\u00e4j\u00e4n massakeskipisteen korkeuden muutos (r=0,759; n=56; p<0,001), tukijalan polvikulman muutos (r=0,942; n=56; p<0,001) sek\u00e4 loppuvedon pituus asteina (r=0,938; n=7; p<0,001).\nPohdinta. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tulokset toistivat usean analysoidun muuttujan osalta aiempien tutkimusten l\u00f6yd\u00f6ksi\u00e4. Toisaalta esiteltiin my\u00f6s useita muuttujia, joille ei juuri ollut olemassa aiempia vertailuarvoja. L\u00f6ydettyjen uusien korrelaatioiden pohjalta olisi t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 tehd\u00e4 lis\u00e4tutkimusta, jotta niit\u00e4 voitaisiin tarkastella suuremmassa heittom\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ss\u00e4. Usean muuttujan osalta vahvistui k\u00e4sitys siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 moukarinheitonkaltaisessa \u00e4\u00e4rimm\u00e4isen monimutkaisessa suorituksessa samankaltaiseen lopputulokseen voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4ty\u00e4 hyvinkin erityyppisill\u00e4 suoritustekniikoilla. Saman urheilijan erimittaisissa heitoissa erot olivat pieni\u00e4, mutta yksitt\u00e4isen urheilijan kohdalla pienet erot saattavat ratkaista suorituksen onnistumisen. Py\u00f6r\u00e4hdysten m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 vaikutti suoritukseen siten, ett\u00e4 viidell\u00e4 py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksell\u00e4 py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyskohtaiset vaihtelut eri py\u00f6r\u00e4hdysten v\u00e4lill\u00e4 olivat huomattavan pieni\u00e4, kun taas kolmen py\u00f6r\u00e4hdyksen heitossa vaihtelua yksitt\u00e4isten py\u00f6r\u00e4hdysten v\u00e4lill\u00e4 oli enemm\u00e4n. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kilpailusuorituksista, jolloin liikeanalyysi jouduttiin tekem\u00e4\u00e4n manuaalisesti, mik\u00e4 rajoitti raskautensa vuoksi analysoitujen heittojen lukum\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4. Analysoitujen heittojen v\u00e4h\u00e4isen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n vuoksi on t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tulosten yleistett\u00e4vyyteen suhtauduttava varauksella. After the hammer has been released, its trajectory is similar to any projectile except for the factors related to air resistance. Throwing distance is affected by speed, height and angle of release, where the release speed has the greatest effect. Studying biomechanical aspects is crucial for development of hammer throw. The aim of this study was to examine which technical models are propitious for longer throwing distances. \nMethods. Analyzed throws (n=7) were recorded with two Panasonic GH-5 video cameras (180 fps) at the international Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku (June 2017) and national Kalevan Kisat (the Finnish Championships) in Sein\u00e4joki (July 2017). Five throws were performed with four turns and one with three and five each. Full body motion analysis (18 points + hammer head) was made at 60 fps with APAS 3D motion analysis software. In analyzes, four different comparisons were made: four-turn-throws, two throws with almost the same throw distance, two throws from the same thrower and throws from separate throwers with different number of turns (3-5) were compared with each other.\nResults. The longest of the seven throws analyzed was at the third place in year 2017 world rankings (82,40 m). Throw distance correlated strongly with release speed (r = 0,98; n=7; p<0,001), of which horizontal component developed mainly during the first two turns while vertical component increased throughout the whole turn phase. The strongest correlations with hammer speed increase were found for the changes in body rotation (r=-0,843; n=56; p<0,001), thrower center of mass height (r=0,759; n=56; p<0,001) and knee angle of the support leg (r=0,942; n=56; p<0,001). Delivery phase length in degrees also correlated strongly with hammer speed increase (r=0,938; n=7; p<0,001).\nDiscussion. The results of this study replicated many findings from previous studies. A great deal of new correlations which would need more research were also founded. Assumption was fortified, that in complicated event like hammer throw, same results can be achieved by various techniques. Differences between two throws performed by the same thrower were small but they can still adjudicate if the throw succeeds or not. Number of turns in a throw affected variation between isolated turns. The number of analyzed throws was small because this study was based on throws executed in the real competitions requiring time consuming manual motion analysis afterwards. Due to small sample size, the generalizations based on the results of this study needs to be treated with caution.
