Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin, kuinka asiakirjoissa kirjoitetaan toisen ja vieraan kielen oppimisen haasteista ja oppimiselle suunnatuista tukitoimista. Tutkimusaineisto koostui esi- ja alkuopetusik\u00e4isille lapsille tehdyist\u00e4 kolmiportaisen tuen asiakirjoista (N=38) eli pedagogisista arvioista ja selvityksist\u00e4, oppimissuunnitelmista sek\u00e4 HOJKS-asiakirjoista. Aineiston analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin diskurssianalyysia.\n\nTutkimustulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 hieman yli puolessa (53 %) asiakirjoista pyrittiin tukemaan oppilaiden yksikielisyytt\u00e4 heid\u00e4n monikielisest\u00e4 taustastaan huolimatta. Yli puolessa (61 %) asiakirjoista oli my\u00f6s puutteita ja ep\u00e4tarkkuutta toisen tai vieraan kielen oppimisen sek\u00e4 siihen liittyv\u00e4n tuen kuvausten suhteen. Suurin osa (76 %) asiakirjoista kuitenkin uusinsi funktionaalista kielik\u00e4sityst\u00e4 ja yli kolmasosassa (39 %) asiakirjoista pedagogiset ratkaisut oli perusteltu yksityiskohtaisesti. Tulokset vahvistivat k\u00e4sityst\u00e4 siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 pedagogisten asiakirjojen laadussa on suurta vaihtelevuutta. Asiakirjojen laadun varmistamiseksi olisi t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, ett\u00e4 pedagogisia asiakirjoja ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4t ammattilaiset pohtisivat omien kirjaamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jens\u00e4 suhdetta asiakirjojen tarkoitukseen ja niist\u00e4 saatavaan hy\u00f6tyyn.
