Subjekti eli tekstin puhuja on jo r\u00e4pin alkuajoista asti ollut rap-lyriikan keskeisi\u00e4 elementtej\u00e4, ja sit\u00e4 rakentavien sek\u00e4 sen rakentamien diskurssien eli puhetapojen tutkiminen antaa mahdollisuuden tulkita subjektia yksityiskohtaisemmin. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa tutkittiin suomalaisen rap-artistin DJ Kridlokkin lyriikoiden diskursiivista subjektia, joka lyriikoissa rakentaa erilaisia diskursseja ja rakentuu niist\u00e4 my\u00f6s itse. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, millaisia erilaisia subjektia k\u00e4sittelevi\u00e4 diskursseja lyriikoissa rakentui, millaisena subjekti n\u00e4iden diskurssien kautta n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyi ja miten diskurssit sek\u00e4 niiden my\u00f6t\u00e4 my\u00f6s subjekti muuttuivat. \n Aineistona tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin DJ Kridlokkin kolmen albumin, UG Solon (2011), Mutsin (2014) ja Siliuksen (2019) sek\u00e4 yhden singlejulkaisun, S/O:n (2017) lyriikoita. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 erin\u00e4isi\u00e4 laululyriikkaa esittelevi\u00e4 sivustoja, jonka j\u00e4lkeen lyriikat tarkastettiin useaan otteeseen ja niihin tehtiin mahdolliset korjaukset. Aineisto analysoitiin hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 diskurssianalyysia sek\u00e4 subjektin teoriaa erittelem\u00e4ll\u00e4 lyriikoista erilaisia diskursseja ja tutkimalla sit\u00e4, miten subjektia niiss\u00e4 kuvailtiin. \n Tuloksissa lyriikoista nousi esille kolme p\u00e4\u00e4diskurssia, rikollinen, r\u00e4pp\u00e4ri ja \u00e4lykk\u00f6, joihin kaikkiin subjekti kiinnittyi. L\u00e4pi aineiston lyriikoita leikkasi kuitenkin parodiointi ja huumori, joiden avulla kyseenalaistettiin monen muunkin luokittelun lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s nimettyj\u00e4 diskursseja. Tutkimuksen tuloksissa m\u00e4\u00e4rittyi diskursseihin osittain kiinnittyv\u00e4 mutta toisaalta taas niist\u00e4 aktiivisesti irti pyrkiv\u00e4, autonominen subjekti, joka halusi itse m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4 itsens\u00e4. Muutos kolmen albumin ja yhden singlen aikana tapahtui rikollisuutta oman jengins\u00e4 kanssa harrastavasta gangsteriel\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4 esitt\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4 subjektista aitouttaan todistelevan subjektin kautta maailmantuskaa kokevaksi, yh\u00e4 inhimillisemm\u00e4ksi DJ Kridlokkiksi. Tutkimustulokset ovat linjassa aiemman suomalaisen rap-lyriikan tekijyyksiin liittyv\u00e4n tutkimuksen kanssa.\n Tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 subjekti on edelleen keskeinen, joskin monipuolinen elementti rap-lyriikassa. Rap-lyriikan subjekti voi m\u00e4\u00e4ritty\u00e4 ja m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4\u00e4 itsens\u00e4 totuttuihin diskursseihin, mutta olla my\u00f6s aktiivinen toimija, joka p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 itse, mihin m\u00e4\u00e4rittyy. Diskurssit ovat r\u00e4pin historian aikana liikkuneet suhteellisen kronologisesti oman el\u00e4m\u00e4n kurjuuksista ghetoissa varallisuudella leveilyyn, mutta nykyp\u00e4iv\u00e4n sallivammassa ilmapiiriss\u00e4 voidaan r\u00e4p\u00e4t\u00e4 my\u00f6s esimerkiksi ihmissuhteista ja yhteiskunnasta silti pysyen aitoina ja autenttisina, vakavasti otettavina r\u00e4pp\u00e4rein\u00e4.
