CLASS-menetelm\u00e4n teoreettinen viitekehys on Teaching Through Interactions (TTI), joka jakaa opetustilanteen aikaisen vuorovaikutuksen kolmeen osa-alueeseen: opettajan tarjoamaan emotionaaliseen tukeen, ohjeukselliseen tukeen sek\u00e4 opetuksen organisointiin. CLASS-menetelm\u00e4 on paljon tutkittu ja luotettavaksi todettu menetelm\u00e4 vuorovaikutuksen arvioimiseen mutta se on kehitetty p\u00e4\u00e4osin luokkahuoneopetuksen havainnointiin. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tuotoksena syntynyt CLASS-liikunta -havainnointimittari kehitettiin erityisesti liikunnanopetusymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 tapahtuvan opetuksen observoimiseen. \n\nTutkimus koostuu CLASS-liikunta -havainnointimittarin kehitt\u00e4misest\u00e4 sek\u00e4 havainnointimittarin luotettavuuden tutkimisesta. Havainnointimittari kehitettiin nelj\u00e4n hengen tutkimusryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin seitsem\u00e4lt\u00e4 yl\u00e4koulun liikuntatunnilta. Havainnointilomakkeen t\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t tunnin opettaja sek\u00e4 tuntia seuranneet asiantuntijaryhm\u00e4n j\u00e4senet ja muut observoijat. Yhteens\u00e4 mittarin avulla tehtyj\u00e4 tuntihavaintoja kertyi 46. Oppitunneille osallistuneet oppilaat (n=106) t\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t tunnin lopussa oppilaskyselyn tunnin vuorovaikutuksesta. Aineisto analysoitiin IBM SPSS Statistic version 24 -ohjelmistolla. Lomakkeiden havaintojen yhdenmukaisuutta vertailtiin sek\u00e4 eri havainnoitsijaryhmien, ett\u00e4 aikuisten ja lasten v\u00e4lill\u00e4 mittarin kolmella osa-alueella. Analyysimenetelmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin reliabiliteettianalyysia, yksisuuntaista varianssianalyysia sek\u00e4 T-testi\u00e4. Varianssianalyysin tuloksia tarkasteltiin Kruskall Wallis- sek\u00e4 Tukey HSD -testeill\u00e4.\n\nHavainnoitsijaryhmien tekemien havaintojen Cronbachin Alfa -kertoimet olivat emotionaalisen tuen osa-alueella .88, organisoinnin osa-alueella .84 ja ohjauksellisen tuen osa-alueella .65. Oppilaiden havaintojen Cronbachin Alfa -kertoimet vastaaville osa-alueille olivat .77, .71 sek\u00e4 .78. Havainnoitsijaryhmien tekem\u00e4t havainnot eiv\u00e4t poikenneet mill\u00e4\u00e4n osa-alueella toisistaan tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti. Sen sijaan oppilaiden ja havainnoitsijaryhmien v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 havaintoja verratessa tilastollisesi merkitsevi\u00e4 eroja todettiin organisoinnin sek\u00e4 ohjauksellisen tuen osa-alueilla. \n\nTutkimuksen johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksin\u00e4 todettiin sek\u00e4 luodun havainnointimittarin ett\u00e4 oppilaille tarkoitetun kyselyn olevan luotettavia t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa ker\u00e4tyll\u00e4 aineistolla. N\u00e4in ollen voidaan todeta mittarin olevan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kelpoinen ty\u00f6kalu liikunnanopetuksessa tapahtuvan vuorovaikutuksen havainnoimiseen. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen pienest\u00e4 aineistosta johtuen havainnointimittarin luotettavuudesta tarvitaan viel\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4 tutkimuksia suuremmalla aineistolla.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this study was to develop an observation tool for assessing the interaction of a physical education class based on an observational instrument called the Classroom Assessment Scoring System. The theoretical frame of the CLASS is called Teaching Through Interactions and it divides the interaction of a teaching situation into three domains: emotional support, instructional support and classroom organization. Various studies have shown that the CLASS can be used to reliably assess the interactions during a teaching event, but the CLASS is designed to be used mostly in a usual classroom-setting. The CLASS-PE -observation tool that was created during this study is designed specifically for PE-class use. \n\nThis study consists of two research problems: developing the CLASS-PE -observation tool and testing the reliability of the created tool. The observation tool was developed with a research group of four persons. The data was collected from seven high school PE-lessons. The observation form was filled by the teacher, the study group and others observing the lessons. The total amount of observations from the lessons was 46. Students taking part in the lessons (n=106) filled out a questionnary about the interaction after each lesson. The final data was analyzed with the IBM SPSS Statistic version 24 -program. Inter-rater agreements were compared both between the different observer groups and between observers and students and in all three domains of the tool. The methods consist of reliability analysis, one-way analysis of variance and T test. The results of the analysis of variance were re-analyzed with Kruskall-Wallis and Tukey HSD.\n\nCronbach\u2019s Alphas for the observations made by the observers for the emotional support-domain was .88, organization-domain .84 and instructional support domain .65. Cronbach\u2019s Alphas for the observations made by the students for the same domains were .77, .71 and .78. The inter-rater agreements for the observations made by the observators did not differ statistically significantly on any of the domains. However when comparing the observations between the observers and the students there was a statistically significant difference on two of the domains (organization and instructional support).\n\nThe conclusion of this study is that the created observation tool and the questionnaire are reliable using this data. Thus both of them can be used for assessing the interaction of a physical education lesson.
