Tutkimusaineisto koostui oppimissuunnitelmista sek\u00e4 HOJKS-asiakirjoista (N=105), jotka analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isell\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla. \n\nTutkimus osoitti, ett\u00e4 asiakirjat rakensivat moninaisia ihanteita lasten vertaistoimijuudelle. N\u00e4it\u00e4 ihanteita olivat yst\u00e4v\u00e4llisyys ja sovinnollisuus, sosiaalisuus ja aktiivisuus, kaverisuosio, tunteiden ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen s\u00e4\u00e4tely sek\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4 toimimisen taidot. Vertaissuhteiden tukemisen keinot jakautuivat puolestaan viiteen p\u00e4\u00e4asialliseen tukitoimeen, joita olivat vertaissuhdetaitojen harjoit-telun mahdollistaminen, aikuisen ohjaus vertaisvuorovaikutustilanteissa, interventio-ohjelmat, yleisluontoiset tukitoimet sek\u00e4 puuttuvat tukitoimet. \n\nTutkimuksessa havaittiin, ett\u00e4 asiakirjoissa esiintyv\u00e4t tukitoimet keskittyiv\u00e4t enemm\u00e4n lapsen yksil\u00f6lliseen tukemiseen kuin koko lapsiryhm\u00e4\u00e4 koskevien menetelmien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4miseen. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimus osoitti, ett\u00e4 asiakirjojen tukitoimikuvaukset vaihtelivat yksityiskohtaisesta tuen sis\u00e4lt\u00f6jen erittelyst\u00e4 kokonaan puuttuviin tukitoimikirjauksiin saakka. Tutkimus vahvisti my\u00f6s k\u00e4sityst\u00e4 siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 suunnitelma-asiakirjoilla ja niiden kirjauksilla on vahva vallank\u00e4yt\u00f6llinen asema, sill\u00e4 ne loivat kuvaa siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 tietyt luonteenpiirteet, ominaisuudet ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymismallit ovat toivottavampia kuin toiset.
