Tutkielmalla pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 organisaatioetiikasta, eettisest\u00e4 johtamisesta ja eettisest\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksenteosta ammatillisissa oppilaitoksissa. Tutkimuksen organisaatioetiikkaa koskeva keskeinen teoreettinen m\u00e4\u00e4ritelm\u00e4 liittyi siihen, mink\u00e4lainen toiminta niin yksil\u00f6tasolla kuin ryhm\u00e4tasolla on oikein tai v\u00e4\u00e4rin ja mik\u00e4 on sallittua (Weiss 1998, Bishop 2013) sek\u00e4 miten tulee toimia kussakin tilanteessa (Sinclair 1993). Eettist\u00e4 johtamista l\u00e4hestyttiin soveltaen Salmisen (2009) tekem\u00e4\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4ritelm\u00e4\u00e4 eettisest\u00e4 johtamisesta: \u201dEettinen johtaminen on yhteisten arvojen, oikeudenmukaisuuden ja yhteisen hyv\u00e4n edist\u00e4mist\u00e4 kohti laajempaa eettisyytt\u00e4 ja tuloksellisuutta ty\u00f6yhteis\u00f6iss\u00e4 sek\u00e4 organisaatioiden ja yksil\u00f6iden p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksenteossa\u201d. Lis\u00e4ksi eettist\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoa k\u00e4siteltiin Tenbrunselin ja Smith-Crowen (2008) eettisen p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksenteon mallin avulla. \n Tutkimuksen empiirinen aineisto koostui 12 ammatillisen oppilaitoksen johtajan haastattelusta ja aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin maalis - ja huhtikuussa 2020. Aineisto analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isesti sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysimenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimustuloksia peilattiin tehtyihin teoreettisiin m\u00e4\u00e4ritelmiin, teoriataustaan ja olemassa oleviin tutkimustuloksiin. Teoreettisena p\u00e4\u00e4telm\u00e4n\u00e4 todetaan, ett\u00e4 arvot ja etiikka muodostivat pohjan organisaatioetiikalle. Johtajat kuvasivat eettist\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoa erilaisten kehysten kautta, jotka olivat ensisijaisesti oikeus- ja lainmukainen kehys, sen j\u00e4lkeen eettinen kehys.
