Ilmi\u00f6n taustalla on teknologian kehittymisen vauhdittama yhteiskunnan digitaalinen murros, joka haastaa organisaatioita digitaalisen transformaation matkalle. Digitalisaation my\u00f6t\u00e4 organisaatiot kohtaavat jatkuvia uudistumisen haasteita, jotta ne pysyisiv\u00e4t kilpailukykyisin\u00e4 nyt ja tulevaisuudessa yh\u00e4 nopeammin muuttuvassa kompleksisessa maailmassa. Digitaalisen teknologian n\u00e4hd\u00e4\u00e4n usein olevan vain osa monimutkaista kokonaisuutta, joka uudistumispaineessa kamppailevien organisaatioiden t\u00e4ytyy ratkaista s\u00e4ilytt\u00e4\u00e4kseen kilpailukykyns\u00e4. Vaikutukset ulottuvat kaikkialle organisaatiossa uudistaen my\u00f6s ty\u00f6n tekemisen ja organisoitumisen malleja. Ketter\u00e4n toiminnan ja lean-ajattelun periaatteet ovat osoittautuneet toimiviksi tavoiksi menesty\u00e4 kompleksisten ongelmien parissa jatkuvasti muuttuvassa toimintaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi tarvitaan my\u00f6s ep\u00e4varmuutta ja ep\u00e4onnistumisia sallivaa kokeilukulttuuria, jatkuvaa oppimista ja kyky\u00e4 uudistua. Tutkimuksen kirjallisuuskatsauksessa tarkastellaan moniteoreettisen linssin l\u00e4pi digitaalisen transformaation, ketteryyden ja jatkuvan oppimisen teemoja, joiden pohjalta muodostettiin tutkimusmalli ja m\u00e4\u00e4riteltiin tutkimusk\u00e4sitteet. Tutkimuksen empiirinen tiedonhankinta toteutettiin l\u00e4pik\u00e4ym\u00e4ll\u00e4 ja analysoimalla Digitalist Network -osaamisyhteis\u00f6n tapahtumien asiantuntijapuheenvuorojen videotallenteet vuosilta 2015-2017. Tutkimus selkeytti digitalisaatioon liittyvien k\u00e4sitteiden m\u00e4\u00e4ritelmi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 auttoi ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ilmi\u00f6n laaja-alaisia vaikutuksia organisaatioille. Moniulotteisena ja kompleksisena ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 digitalisaatio mahdollistaa paljon, mutta my\u00f6s siihen vastaaminen vaatii organisaatiolta muutoskyvykkyytt\u00e4 ja uudenlaisia k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4. Jatkuva oppiminen on v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4t\u00f6nt\u00e4 henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n, tiimien ja organisaation tasolla. Organisaatioiden johdon tulee ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 digitaalisen transformaation laaja-alaisuus, joka vaatii koko organisaation sitoutumista ja tukea ketteryyteen. T\u00e4m\u00e4 edellytt\u00e4\u00e4 linjaamista ja uusia k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4 johtamiseen. Tiimi- ja yksil\u00f6tasolla korostuu itseohjautuvuus, jota tukee valmentava johtaminen. The background of the phenomenon is the technology-driven digitalization of society, which challenges organizations on a journey of digital transformation. Along with digitalization and today\u2019s rapidly changing complex world, organizations face constant challenges of renewal in order to remain competitive now and in the future. Digital technology is seen as just part of a complex entity, which the organizations struggling with the pressure of renewal need to address in order to remain competitive. The effects of digitalization extend throughout the organization, also reforming the way of working and organizing work. The principles of agile operations and lean thinking have proven to be effective ways to succeed in solving complex problems in constantly changing environment. Furthermore, there is a need for the culture of experimentation tolerating uncertainty and allowing failure, which enables continuous learning and ability for renewal. \nThis study comprehensively examined the current literature in the topics of digital transformation, agility as well as the continuous learning through a multi-theoretical lens. Based on the key findings from the literature review, research model was formulated, and research concepts were defined. The empirical data acquisition was carried out by reviewing and analyzing the video recordings of the expert talks at the events of the Digitalist Network knowledge community during 2015-2017. The research clarified the definitions of digitalization and helped to understand its broad implications for organizations. Digitalization as a phenomenon is multidimensional and complex holding great potential, but for the organizations to actualize it requires changeability and new practices. Continuous learning is essential for all levels - individuals, teams and organization. The management of organizations must comprehend the scope and the big picture of digital transformation which requires commitment of the entire organization and support for agility. This, in turn, also requires alignment and new practices for management. The need for self-direction and self-organizing supported by coaching leadership is emphasized at the team and individual levels.
