On kuitenkin tiettyj\u00e4 ty\u00f6vaiheita, joiden automatisointi ei\nole mahdollista tai kannattavaa. Leipomoyritys Vaasan Oy:n tilastojen mukaan tule-sairaudet olivat\nyleisin syy (62%) sairauspoissaoloihin heid\u00e4n l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n vuonna 2019. Yleisimpi\u00e4 tule-vaivoja\nl\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6iss\u00e4 olivat yl\u00e4raajaoireet (27%).\n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4 pro gradu -tutkielma on osa Vaasan Oy:n tutkimusprojektia, mink\u00e4 tavoitteena on v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4\nsairauspoissaoloja ja ennaltaehk\u00e4ist\u00e4 ennenaikaisen el\u00e4k\u00f6itymisen riski\u00e4. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli\nselvitt\u00e4\u00e4, voidaanko \u00e4lyvaateteknologian avulla kuvata l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6ty\u00f6n eri ty\u00f6teht\u00e4vi\u00e4, osoittaa ty\u00f6h\u00f6n\nliittyvi\u00e4 fyysisisi\u00e4 kuormitustekij\u00f6it\u00e4 ja antaa sen perusteella suosituksia kuormituksen v\u00e4hent\u00e4miseksi.\nTutkimusaineisto (n=10, 70% miehi\u00e4) ker\u00e4ttiin helmi-maaliskuussa 2019 Vaasan Oy:n l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6ss\u00e4\nseitsem\u00e4st\u00e4 eri ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4. Mittausmenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin Myontec Oy:n\n\u00e4lyvaateteknologiaa, mill\u00e4 mitattiin eri ty\u00f6vaiheiden fyysist\u00e4 kuormittavuutta EMG:n, liikesensorien ja\nsykkeen perusteella. Ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4t my\u00f6s videoitiin. Aineiston analysoimiseen k\u00e4ytettiin Ergolink- ja\nSPSS-ohjelmistoa (IBM SPSS Statistics 26).\n\nTulosten perusteella \u00e4lyvaateteknologialla voidaan kuvata eri ty\u00f6teht\u00e4vi\u00e4 ja se antaa hyvi\u00e4\nmahdollisuuksia arvioida ty\u00f6n fyysisi\u00e4 kuormitustekij\u00f6it\u00e4. Tulosten mukaan rataker\u00e4ily ja radan t\u00e4ytt\u00f6\nvaikuttavat olevan fyysisesti eniten yl\u00e4raajoja kuormittavia l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6n ty\u00f6teht\u00e4vi\u00e4. Rataker\u00e4ilyss\u00e4\nesiintyi suositukset ylitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 olkavarren kohoasentoja molemmissa olkavarsissa. Radan t\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 ja\nty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4ss\u00e4, mik\u00e4 koostui lavan purkamisesta, radan t\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 ja pumppuk\u00e4rryn k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4, suositukset\nylittyiv\u00e4t oikean olkavarren osalta. Lihaskuormitusta tarkasteltiin yli 50% ty\u00f6naikaisen\nmaksimikuormituksen ylityksin\u00e4. Rataker\u00e4ilyss\u00e4 ja radan t\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 lihaskuormitus vaikutti olevan\najallisesti suurinta. Ty\u00f6n ensimm\u00e4isen puolen tunnin aikana kuormittuivat eniten oikea olkap\u00e4\u00e4\n(deltoideus), vasen hauis ja oikean k\u00e4sivarren lihakset ja viimeisen puolen tunnin aikana oikea olkap\u00e4\u00e4\n(deltoideus) ja vasen hauis. Kuormittavia liikkeit\u00e4 olivat muun muassa nostot, tarttumiset yksitt\u00e4isiin\ntuotteisiin ja kauppatunnistepapereiden k\u00e4sittely ty\u00f6n aikana. Sykkeen nousu oli suurinta ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4ss\u00e4,\nmik\u00e4 sis\u00e4lsi sek\u00e4 lavojen kuljettamista pumppuk\u00e4rryll\u00e4 ett\u00e4 lavojen purkamista ja radant\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4. Sykkeen\nnousun ja lihaskuormituksen v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei t\u00e4ss\u00e4 pieness\u00e4 materiaalissa todettu korrelaatiota.\n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4 pro gradu on ensimm\u00e4inen tutkimus, miss\u00e4 on k\u00e4ytetty \u00e4lyvaateteknologiaa l\u00e4hett\u00e4m\u00f6ty\u00f6n\nfyysisen kuormituksen arvioimiseksi. T\u00e4m\u00e4n aineiston perusteella havaittiin kaksi ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4, joiden\nyl\u00e4raajakuormituksen v\u00e4hent\u00e4miseksi suositellaan toimenpiteit\u00e4. Increased automation has decreased physical\neffort demanding tasks and thus repetitive strain injury incidence has decreased. However, there are still\nsome tasks that can\u2019t be automatized. In baking company Vaasan Oy, MSD were the primary (62%)\nreason for sick leave in their dispatch department in 2019. Upper extremity symptoms were the most\ncommon (27%) MSD.\nThis Master\u2019s thesis is part of Vaasan Oy\u2019s project with the aim to reduce sick absences and prevent\nearly retirement. The purpose of this Master\u2019s thesis was to find out 1) if it is possible to describe\ndispatch department work tasks by wearable technology, 2) if physical workload factors can be pointed\nout by wearable technology and 3) if recommendations for decreasing workload can be given based on\nthis information. Measurements were conducted in Vaasan Oy\u2019s bakery\u2019s dispatch department in 2019.\nVoluntary participants (n=10, 70% men) were recruited. Measurements were conducted in normal night\nshift in seven different workstations. Measurements were conducted by using wearable technology\n(Myontec Oy) which gives information about physical workload by EMG, movement sensors and wrist\nheart rate monitor. Measurements were also recorded. EMG sensors embedded to shirts measure muscle\nactivity from forearm, biceps brachii, deltoideus and trapezius. Work phases were detected by Ergolinkprogram and data was analyzed with SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 26).\nResults shows that by using EMG and video evaluation it is possible to describe the physical workload\nin different dispatch\u2019s work tasks. It seems that rack picking and rack filling are the most physically\ndemanding work tasks for upper extremities in dispatch department. Shoulder elevations above 60\ndegrees exceeded the threshold of recommendations (>10% of worktime) in both shoulders in rack\npicking and in right shoulder in rack filling and a work task which consisted pallet unloading, rack filling\nand using the manual forklift for carrying pallets. EMG data was presented as percentages of working\ntime the muscle load was above the 50% of the highest workload during the measured working time. It\nseems that in rack picking and rack filling the muscle load is temporally highest. Right deltoideus, right\nforearm and left biceps are the most loaded muscles in the beginning of work. In the end load is highest\nin right deltoideus and left biceps. For example, lifts, handling single products and keeping delivery\nnotes in hand simultaneously during handling boxes caused highest peak values for muscles. Heart rate\nincreased most in work task that included carrying pallets by pallet truck, pallet unloading and rack\nfilling. In this small sample there was no correlation between heart rate and muscle load.\nThis is the first study where physical load of dispatch department work is assessed by wearable EMG\ntechnology. This study identified two work tasks in dispatch department work that would be worth of\nspecial actions for decreasing their physical loading level. Evidence based actions recommended are\nergonomic guidance, use of tools that decrease physical load and appropriate breaks.
