Tiet\u00e4myksenhallinnalla on osoitettu olevan positiivinen vaikutus yritysvastuun sis\u00e4llytt\u00e4misess\u00e4 yrityksen strategiaan ja edelleen toimintaan. Yritysvastuun tiet\u00e4myksenhallinta voikin johtaa yrityksen yhteiskunnallisen roolin parempaan huomioimiseen ja olemassa olevan yritysvastuutiedon parempaan hallintaan. Tutkimusta on toistaiseksi ollut vain v\u00e4h\u00e4n siit\u00e4, miten johdon panostukset yritysvastuun osaamisen parantamiseksi k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4 toteutetaan ja miten ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t ne ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4v\u00e4t.\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa selvitettiin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kokemuksia yritysvastuun osaamisesta ja tiet\u00e4myksenhallinnasta kasvavassa monikansallisessa yrityksess\u00e4. Tarkoituksena oli esitt\u00e4\u00e4 yritykselle parannusehdotuksia yritysvastuun tiet\u00e4myksenhallinnan kehitt\u00e4miseksi sek\u00e4 uuden osaamisen luomiseksi ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6noton parantamiseksi.\nTutkielman teoriaosuus k\u00e4sitteli yritysvastuun ja tiet\u00e4myksen v\u00e4list\u00e4 suhdetta sek\u00e4 tiet\u00e4myksenhallintaprosessia. Ty\u00f6 toteutettiin tutkitussa yrityksess\u00e4 laadullisena tutkimuksena kolmen fokusryhm\u00e4haastattelun, kolmen yksil\u00f6haastattelun ja toissijaisten l\u00e4hteiden perusteella. Haastattelut toteutettiin Euroopassa toimivassa kohdeyrityksess\u00e4.\nTutkielman tulosten analysoinnissa hy\u00f6dynnettiin temaattista analyysi\u00e4. Tutkielman tulokset vahvistavat henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n osallisuuden t\u00e4rkeyden yritysvastuun osaamisen johtamisessa ja soveltamisessa. Henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n osallistaminen vaatii kuitenkin heilt\u00e4 itselt\u00e4\u00e4n halukkuutta, kykyj\u00e4 ja resursseja osallistua. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa suurin osa henkil\u00f6st\u00f6st\u00e4 koki yritysvastuun olevan pohjana kaikelle yrityksen toiminnalle. Siit\u00e4 huolimatta he kokivat hankalaksi ajan ja resurssien k\u00e4yt\u00f6n yritysvastuun aseman parantamiseksi yrityksess\u00e4. Syyn\u00e4 t\u00e4h\u00e4n oli hektinen ty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6 sek\u00e4 yritysvastuun hahmottaminen erillisen\u00e4 omasta ty\u00f6st\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n ty\u00f6n suositukset koskevat henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n osallistamisen edist\u00e4mist\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 tiet\u00e4myksenhallintaj\u00e4rjestelmien automaatiota, selke\u00e4\u00e4 ja tiivistetty\u00e4 viestint\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n koulutusta.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Companies face pressure to contribute in solving the complex challenges of modern day due to their resources, capabilities and reach to facilitate change faster than individual governments and societies. Knowledge management has been identified as one of the key areas regarding the implementation of corporate responsibility (CR) into company strategy and operation. Managing CR knowledge can provide companies with new ways to embrace their societal role and control the CR knowledge they already possess. However, there is scarcity in the existing research of how these management efforts of CR knowledge are implemented into company\u2019s practices and how they are understood by the company employees.\nThis thesis aims to address these challenges by providing an overview of employees' perception of CR knowledge and CR knowledge management in a growing multinational company. The objective is to provide recommendations for the company to enhance their CR knowledge management process, which can further lead to increased knowledge creation and application.\nTheoretical framework of this thesis considers the essence of CR, knowledge and knowledge management process. This qualitative study included three focus group and three individual employee interviews complemented by secondary data. The interviews were conducted in the studied company operating in Europe.\nThe findings of this study were analysed using thematic network analysis. The findings show that employee involvement is crucial to manage CR knowledge. However, this requires willingness, capabilities and resources from the employees\u2019 of the company. In this study the majority of the interviewees recognized CR as a base of the operations, yet they often struggled to invest time and other resources to develop CR\u2019s position in the company. This was due to the hectic work environment and lack of capability to see CR as an instinct part of their daily work.
