Tutkimuksessa pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, tuoko kivijalkaliike omnikanavayritykselle lis\u00e4arvoa ja vaikuttaako se mahdollisesti asiakkaiden kokemukseen sek\u00e4 uudelleenostoaikomukseen.\nNykyp\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 yritykset ovat huomanneet monikanavaisuuden tuomat edut mm. synergiaetujen kautta. Viime vuosina yritykset ovat perustaneet verkkokauppoja tavoittaakseen yh\u00e4 suuremmat asiakasryhm\u00e4t ja saavuttaakseen paremman tuloksen. Samankaltainen trendi on ollut n\u00e4ht\u00e4viss\u00e4 verkkokauppojen osalta, kun verkkokaupat kuten Amazon ovat perustaneet fyysisi\u00e4 liikkeit\u00e4 tarjotakseen asiakkailleen yhtenev\u00e4n asiakaskokemuksen. Kanavien lis\u00e4\u00e4misell\u00e4 on huomattu olevan positiivisia ja negatiivisia vaikutuksia, mutta kivijalkaliikkeen lis\u00e4\u00e4mist\u00e4 yhdeksi kanavaksi on yleisesti tutkittu niukasti. T\u00e4m\u00e4 luo aiheelle mielenkiintoisen l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohdan selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 asiakkaiden kokemuksia kivijalkaliikkeen lis\u00e4\u00e4misest\u00e4 onlinekanavan rinnalle.\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 laadullisessa tutkimuksessa haastateltiin kymment\u00e4 Zalandon asiakasta heid\u00e4n kokemuksestaan Zalandolla, yleisesti verkkokaupassa sek\u00e4 perinteisess\u00e4 kivijalkaliikkeess\u00e4. Tutkimuksen perusteella haastateltavat eiv\u00e4t kokeneet kivijalkaliikkeen tuovan heille lis\u00e4arvoa tai lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4n asiakastyytyv\u00e4isyytt\u00e4 merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti. Haastateltavat kokivat, ettei kivijalkaliike pysty tarjoamaan yhtenev\u00e4ist\u00e4 kokemusta verkkokaupan kanssa, mik\u00e4 heikent\u00e4\u00e4 asiakaskokemusta monikanavaisessa yrityksess\u00e4. Kivijalkaliikkeen ei koettu vaikuttavan merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti asiakaskokemukseen kuin asiakaspalvelun kautta. Asiakaspalvelu saattoi vaikuttaa asiakastyytyv\u00e4isyyteen, muttei p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa uskollisuuteen.
