(2013) sek\u00e4 t\u00e4h\u00e4n\ntutkimukseen haastatellut asiantuntijat n\u00e4kev\u00e4t, ett\u00e4 suuri osa Suomessa tapahtuvista\nkasvuyrityksien yrityskaupoista onnistuvat.\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n pro gradu -tutkielman tavoitteena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 kasvuyritysten erilaisia\nyrityskauppastrategioita ja tunnistaa n\u00e4iden pohjalta tekij\u00f6it\u00e4, jotka ovat\ntunnusomaisia onnistuneille, mutta toisaalta my\u00f6s ep\u00e4onnistuneille yritysostoille.\nHavaintojen pohjalta on tavoitteena kuvata niit\u00e4 keinoja, joilla kasvuyritys\npystyy paremmin onnistumaan yritysostoissaan.\nTutkimuksen aineisto koostuu viiden kokeneen, yli 150:ss\u00e4 yritysj\u00e4rjestelyss\u00e4\nmukana olleiden asiantuntijoiden erillishaastatteluista. Aineiston analyysi\non toteutettu kahdessa vaiheessa. Ensimm\u00e4isess\u00e4 vaiheessa on k\u00e4ytetty sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia\nteemoitteluperiaatteella, jonka perusteella aineisto on jaoteltu nelj\u00e4n\neri teeman mukaan: yritysostojen strategiat, pehme\u00e4mpien strategisten arvojen\nmerkitys yritysostoissa, suunnitelmallisuus ja strategian mukainen toiminta\nyritysostoissa ja yrityskauppa prosessina. T\u00e4m\u00e4n j\u00e4lkeen, toisessa vaiheessa aineiston\nanalyysia, l\u00f6yd\u00f6ksi\u00e4 on pyritty syvent\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ja rikastamaan narratiivisen\nanalyysin keinoin ja muodostettu kaksi tarinaa: ep\u00e4onnistunut yritysosto\u2013 ja\nonnistunut yritysostotarina.\nTutkimus osoittaa, ett\u00e4 onnistunut yrityskauppa on yhdistelm\u00e4 huolellisesti\nyrityksen strategian pohjalta suunniteltua ja toteutettua yritysostoprosessia\nsek\u00e4 taitavaa ihmisten johtamista. Yrityskaupat muuttavat yleens\u00e4 organisaation\ntoimintaa kokonaisvaltaisesti, mik\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4sti aiheuttaa henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n\nkeskuudessa muutosvastarintaa.
