N\u00e4it\u00e4 kahta eri kontekstia tutkitaan eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista ja saatuja tuloksia vertaillaan n\u00e4iden kontekstien v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Itse tutkimus, sek\u00e4 keskeiset tutkimuskysymykset t\u00e4ht\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4t tunnistamaan eri koetut ja huomatut tekij\u00e4t, jotka ovat vaikuttaneet kansainv\u00e4listen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden sopeutumiseen molemmissa konteksteissa. My\u00f6s kansainv\u00e4listen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 ja kokemuksia espanjan kielen oppimisesta, sujuvuudesta sek\u00e4 suhteesta heid\u00e4n omaan sopeutumiseensa tutkittiin. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tehtiin, jotta saataisiin selville heid\u00e4n motivaationsa sek\u00e4 kielen oppimiseen, ett\u00e4 sen kautta yhteiskuntaan sopeutumiseen. Tutkimus suoritettiin verkkohaastatteluina. Tutkimukseen valittiin kolmetoista kansainv\u00e4list\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4 ja tutkimustulokset analysoitiin temaattisen analyysin avulla. Havaittuja koodeja pyrittiin tutkimaan samoista n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista molemmissa konteksteissa, jotta tasa-arvoinen vertailu olisi mahdollista. Keskeisimm\u00e4t havaitut koodit yhteiskuntakontekstissa olivat suhteiden ja tuen t\u00e4rkeys, ajattelutavan ja asenteen merkitys, yksil\u00f6lliset muutokset, s\u00e4ilytetyt arvot, ryhmittymisen vaikutus ja espanjan kielen sujuvuus. Organisaatiokontekstissa t\u00e4rkeimm\u00e4t havaitut koodit olivat ty\u00f6asenteen merkitys, s\u00e4ilytetyt ty\u00f6arvot sek\u00e4 kansainv\u00e4lisen ja kieliryhmittyneen ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n vaikutus espanjan kielen oppimiseen. There is a gap of studies comparing social and organizational contexts, which is why this study brings a unique viewpoint for this topic. The study and the research questions pursue to find out different perceived factors impacting on the adaptative perceptions and experiences in these two contexts as well as compare those contexts with each other. The research was conducted by interviewing employees of a multinational organization located in Spain. Spanish language learning and proficiency and its relation to experiences of adaptation is furthermore studied in order to find out the motivational factors and perceptions towards adaptation. Thirteen international employees were interviewed for the study. Through thematic analysis methods, the main codes were identified and discussed in the findings. In order to be able to compare the results equally, the identified codes are discussed from the similar viewpoints. The main identified codes in the societal context are importance of support systems and relationships, impact of mindset, perceived individual changes and retained values, ingroups and Spanish language proficiency. In the organizational context the main detected codes are impact of work mindset, retained work values, influence of international and language clustered environment and its impact on Spanish learning.
