Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, miten liikunnanopettajat uskovat heid\u00e4n 7.-luokkalaisten oppilaiden kokevan motivaation, viihtymisen ja ahdistuneisuuden liikuntatunneilla. Lopuksi tutkittiin eroja oppilaiden ja liikunnanopettajien sek\u00e4 poika- ja tytt\u00f6oppilaiden vastausten v\u00e4lill\u00e4 liittyen oppilaiden motivaatioon, viihtymiseen ja ahdistuneisuuteen. \n\nTutkimukseen osallistui oppilaita (N=459) ja liikunnanopettajia (N=18) Etel\u00e4-, Keski- ja It\u00e4-Suomesta. Oppilaiden ja opettajien aineistot ker\u00e4ttiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isesti kyselylomakkeilla. Lomakkeet k\u00e4sitteliv\u00e4t motivaatiota, viihtymist\u00e4 ja ahdistuneisuutta. Motivaatiota selvitettiin psykologisten perustarpeiden BPN-PE -mittarilla (BPN-PE; Vlachopoulos ym. 2011) sek\u00e4 motivaatioilmastomittarilla (Soini ym. 2004). Viihtymist\u00e4 mitattiin Sport Commitment Questionnaire-2:n (SCQ2) Enjoyment ulottuvuudella (SCQ2; Scanlan ym. 2016) ja ahdistuneisuutta koululiikunnan tilanneahdistuneisuusmittarilla (PESAS; Yli-Piipari ym. 2009). Psykologisten perustarpeiden ja motivaatioilmaston yhteyksi\u00e4 viihtymiseen ja ahdistuneisuuteen tutkittiin Pearsonin tulomomenttikorrelaatiokertoimella. Oppilaiden ja opettajien sek\u00e4 poika- ja tytt\u00f6oppilaiden keskiarvoeroja mitatuissa muuttujissa analysoitiin riippumattomien otosten t-testill\u00e4. \n\nTulokset osoittivat oppilaiden aineistossa psykologisten perustarpeiden korreloivan positiivisesti viihtymisen ja negatiivisesti ahdistuneisuuden kanssa. Opettajien aineistossa autonomia korreloi positiivisesti viihtymisen kanssa ja koettu p\u00e4tevyys sek\u00e4 sosiaalinen yhteenkuuluvuus negatiivisesti ahdistuneisuuden kanssa. Koettu motivaatioilmasto korreloi molemmissa aineistoissa niin, ett\u00e4 sek\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautuneisuus ett\u00e4 kilpailusuuntautuneisuus olivat positiivisesti yhteydess\u00e4 viihtymiseen. Oppilaiden aineistossa teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautuneisuus korreloi negatiivisesti ja kilpailusuuntautuneisuus positiivisesti ahdistuneisuuden kanssa. Oppilaiden ja opettajien aineistojen v\u00e4lisist\u00e4 eroista selvisi, ett\u00e4 opettajat uskoivat oppilaiden kokevan autonomiaa ja kilpailusuuntautuneisuutta enemm\u00e4n, kuin oppilaat. Oppilaat sen sijaan kokivat liikuntatuntien motivaatioilmaston enemm\u00e4n teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautuneeksi, kuin mit\u00e4 opettajat uskoivat oppilaiden kokevan. Poika- ja tytt\u00f6oppilaiden aineistoja vertailtaessa selvisi, ett\u00e4 pojat viihtyv\u00e4t liikuntatunneilla paremmin kuin tyt\u00f6t ja pojat kokevat liikuntatunnit tytt\u00f6j\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n sek\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4- ett\u00e4 kilpailusuuntautuneiksi. \n\nJohtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen\u00e4 tutkimustuloksista voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 psykologisten perustarpeiden t\u00e4yttyminen sek\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautunut motivaatioilmasto lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4t oppilaiden viihtymist\u00e4 liikuntatunneilla. Kilpailusuuntautuneisuus vaikuttaa aiheuttavan oppilaissa sek\u00e4 positiivisia ett\u00e4 negatiivisia tuntemuksia. Opettajat vaikuttavat tuntevan oppilasryhm\u00e4ns\u00e4 motivaatiokokemukset kohtuullisen hyvin. Aikaisempien tutkimusten perusteella voidaan pit\u00e4\u00e4 hyv\u00e4n\u00e4 asiana, ett\u00e4 oppilaat kokivat liikuntatunnit teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautuneempana kuin mit\u00e4 opettajat uskoivat heid\u00e4n kokevan.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this study was to investigate Finnish 7th-grade students` motivation, enjoyment and anxiety in physical education. Additionally, it was studied how physical education teachers believe their students experience motivation, enjoyment and anxiety during physical education classes. Subsequently, it was investigated if there were differences between students and teachers and girls and boys in measured variables. \n\nTotal of 459 students and 18 teachers participated the study. Participants were from Southern, Central and Eastern part of Finland. Both students` and teachers` data was collected by electrical questionnaires. Motivation was investigated by using the Basic Psychological Needs in Physical Education Scale (BPN-PE; Vlachopoulos ym. 2011) and Motivational Climate in Physical Education Scale (Soini ym. 2004). Enjoyment was examined by using Enjoyment subscale of the Sport Commitment Questionnaire 2 (SCQ2; Scanlan ym. 2016) and anxiety by using Physical Education State Anxiety scale (PESAS; Yli-Piipari ym. 2009). Correlations between basic psychological needs, motivational climate, enjoyment and anxiety were analyzed by using Pearson`s correlation coefficient. Differences between students and teachers as well as boys and girls were analyzed by using Independent-Samples t-test. \n\nThe results of this study revealed that basic psychological needs correlated positively with enjoyment and negatively with anxiety in students` data. In teachers` data autonomy correlated positively with enjoyment and competence and social relatedness correlated negatively with anxiety. Task-oriented motivational climate and ego-oriented motivational climate correlated positively with enjoyment in students\u2019 and teachers\u2019 data. In students` data task-oriented motivatonal climate correlated negatively with anxiety and ego-oriented motivational climate positively with anxiety. Teachers believed that their students experienced more autonomy and ego-oriented motivational climate than their students experienced themselves. On the other hand, students experienced physical education classes more task-oriented than teachers believed their students did. The results between boys and girls showed that boys experienced more enjoyment than girls during classes. Boys also experienced physical education more task and ego-oriented than girls. \n\nTo sum up the study it can be said that when basic psychological needs have been filled and motivational climate is task-oriented, students experience more enjoyment. It seems like ego-oriented climate causes both positive and negative motivational experiences among students.
