Niihin mahdollisesti yhteydess\u00e4 olevina tekij\u00f6in\u00e4 tarkasteltiin nuorten nukkumistottumuksia, kokonaisliikunta-aktiivisuutta, harjoitusm\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4 ja p\u00e4\u00e4lajia. Tutkimuksen kohteena olivat syksyll\u00e4 2017 urheiluyl\u00e4koulukokeilun aloittaneet seitsem\u00e4sluokkalaiset. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin syyslukukaudella 2017 s\u00e4hk\u00f6isell\u00e4 kyselylomakkeella, johon vastasi 217 urheiluyl\u00e4koululaista yhteens\u00e4 11 eri koulusta. Aineisto analysoitiin kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 2019 k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en ristiintaulukointia, Khiin neli\u00f6 (\u03c72) \u2013testi\u00e4 ja T-testi\u00e4. \nUrheilevista seitsem\u00e4sluokkalaisista 21,6 % koki itsens\u00e4 v\u00e4syneeksi kolmena p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 viikossa tai useammin. Melkein 40 % kuitenkin ilmaisi, ett\u00e4 ei koe v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 koskaan tai harvemmin kuin kerran viikossa. Tyt\u00f6t kokivat v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 useammin kuin pojat. Vastaajat nukkuivat keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 8 tuntia ja 38 minuuttia, pojat nukkuivat keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 13 minuuttia tytt\u00f6j\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n. Urheiluyl\u00e4koulukokeiluun osallistuvista 65 % liikkui yli 20 tuntia viikossa ja per\u00e4ti 25 % yli 25 tuntia viikossa. Unen kesto oli yhteydess\u00e4 v\u00e4symyksen kokemiseen. Yli 9 tuntia y\u00f6ss\u00e4 nukkuvat kokivat v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 kuin ne, jotka nukkuivat 8\u20139 tuntia tai alle 8 tuntia. Kokonaisliikunta-aktiivisuudella ei ollut yhteytt\u00e4 v\u00e4symyksen kokemiseen, mutta yli 25 tuntia viikossa liikkuvat her\u00e4siv\u00e4t selke\u00e4sti useammin pirte\u00e4n\u00e4 kuin v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n liikkuvat. Valmentajan ohjaamien harjoituskertojen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 tai lajiryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 ei ollut yhteytt\u00e4 nuorten v\u00e4symyksen kokemiseen tai pirte\u00e4n\u00e4 her\u00e4\u00e4miseen. \nUrheilevat nuoret nukkuvat enemm\u00e4n ja kokevat v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 kuin muut nuoret, kuten aiemmat tutkimustuloksetkin ovat osoittaneet (Kokko, Villberg & Kannas 2011, LIITU 2018, WHO 2018). Tilanne urheiluyl\u00e4koulukokeilussa mukana olevien seitsem\u00e4sluokkalaisten nukkumistottumuksien ja kokonaisliikunta-aktiivisuuden kohdalla on hyv\u00e4, koska suurin osa nukkuu suositusten mukaan ja saavuttaa kokonaisliikunta-aktiivisuuden tavoitteen. V\u00e4symyst\u00e4 kokevia oli kuitenkin sen verran, ett\u00e4 jaksamiseen tulee kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 huomiota ja erityisesti unen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4n, koska urheilevat nuoret tarvitsevat unta enemm\u00e4n kuin ik\u00e4toverinsa (Davanne 2009). Possible factors associated with them were sleeping habits, overall exercise activity, frequency of training sessions and main sports. The subject of the study was the seventh-graders who started a sport school in the autumn of 2017. The data were collected in the autumn semester 2017 with an electronic questionnaire, and was answered by 217 athletes from 11 different schools. The data was analysed by using cross-tabulation, the Khi square (x2) test and T-test. \nOf the seventh-grade athletes, 21.6 % felt tired three days a week or more. However, almost 40 % said that they perceived tiredness never or less than once a week. Girls experienced more tiredness than boys did. Respondents slept an average of 8 hours and 38 minutes, boys slept on average 13 minutes longer than girls did. Those who taking part in a sports school trial 65 % moved over 20 hours a week and 25 % more than 25 hours a week. Sleeping duration was not contract to perceived tiredness. Those who slept more than 9 hours a night felt less tiredness than those who slept between 8 and 9 hours or less than 8 hours. Overall exercise activity was not contract to perceived tiredness but more than 25 hours of moving a week clearly awoke more often than others did. \nYoung athletes both sleep more and feel less tiredness than others did as previous research results have shown (Kokko ym. 2011, LIITU 2018, WHO 2018).The situation with seven-grade sports students sleeping habits and the overall exercise activity involved in the sports school experiment is good. Most sleep according to the recommendations and achieve the goal of overall exercise activity. However, those who experience tiredness was that much that it\u00b4s important to pay attention to their coping. Young athletes need more sleep than others (Davenne 2009). In the future, it is important to monitor changes in perceived tiredness, as previous studies have shown that during high school, young people experience increased tiredness and a reduction in sleep duration (eg WHO 2018).
