Liiketoimintamalli on yrityksen tai organisaation hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4 viitekehys yritystoiminnalle. Liiketoimintamalli m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4\u00e4 yrityksen liiketoiminnan avaintekij\u00e4t kuten asiakkuuksien sek\u00e4 liikevaihdon saavuttamisen. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus tarkastelee esports-organisaatioiden hyv\u00e4ksik\u00e4ytt\u00e4mi\u00e4 liiketoimintamalleja. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 vastaus kysymykseen: Mist\u00e4 esports-organisaation liiketoiminta koostuu ja mitk\u00e4 ovat organisaation t\u00e4rkeimm\u00e4t ansaintamallit? Tutkimus toteutetaan kirjallisuuskatsauksena tarkastellen esportsia, urheiluliiketoimintaa sek\u00e4 liiketoimintamalleja k\u00e4sittelevi\u00e4 tutkimuksia sek\u00e4 artikkeleita. Tutkimuksen tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 esports-organisaation liiketoimintamalli voi pohjautua useille erilaisille ansaintamalleille. Esports-organisaation keskeisimm\u00e4t ansaintamallit ovat kaupalliset yhteisty\u00f6kumppanit, nime\u00e4misoikeudet, palkintorahat sek\u00e4 myyntitulot. Tutkimuksen tuloksena on todettu, ett\u00e4 ansaintamalleista tuottoisin on kaupalliset yhteisty\u00f6kumppanit sek\u00e4 sponsorit. Esport is a form of competitive sport in which competitive gaming is organized and commercialized in form of sports. Esports-organizations have grown to be major commercial operators and eSports itself is a growing business all around the world. Business model is a frame of reference that organizations and companies use to model their business. Business model defines the key factors for business to gain turnover and profit. This research examines the models used by eSports-organizations. Objective of the research is to find an answer to question which is: What is a profitable business model for esports-organization? Research is executed through literature review. Research uses other studies and articles as a tool to analyze business models used by eSports-organizations. As a result of the research it has been found that esports-organizations business model can revolve around numerous different revenue models. Most important revenue models for esports-organizations are commercial collaborations, naming rights, prize money and sales revenue. Most profitable of these revenue models is commercial collaborations.
