Tutkielman tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, esiintyyk\u00f6 liikunnanopettajakoulutuksen juuri aloittaneiden 1. vuosikurssin opiskelijoiden sek\u00e4 liikunnanopettajakoulutusta p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4vien p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00f6harjoittelijoiden v\u00e4lill\u00e4 eroavaisuuksia tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamisen koetussa p\u00e4tevyydess\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkielman tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, esiintyyk\u00f6 tutkimusryhmien v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ja ryhmien sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 sukupuolieroja tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamisessa sek\u00e4 miss\u00e4 tunne- ja vuorovaikutustaidoissa liikunnanopettajaksi opiskelevat kokivat kehittyneens\u00e4 opintojen aikana.\nTutkimusaineiston ker\u00e4simme Webropol- ohjelmiston s\u00e4hk\u00f6isell\u00e4 kyselylomakkeella joulukuun 2018 sek\u00e4 tammikuun 2019 v\u00e4lisen\u00e4 aikana. Tutkimuksen kohdejoukko muodostui Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston liikunnanopettajaksi opiskelevista 1. vuosikurssin opiskelijoista sek\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00f6harjoittelijoista (N=85), joista 52 oli 1. vuosikurssin opiskelijoita ja 33 p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00f6harjoittelijoita. Tutkimusjoukosta 44 oli miehi\u00e4 ja 41 naisia. Aineistonkeruu toteutettiin yhteisty\u00f6ss\u00e4 liikunnanopettajakoulutukseen sis\u00e4ltyvien tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamiseen keskittyvien kurssien kanssa, joiden tapaamisten puitteissa tutkimuksen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin. Tutkimus toteutettiin sek\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisill\u00e4 tutkimusotteilla ett\u00e4 laadullisilla tutkimusmenetelmill\u00e4. M\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisesti analysoimme aineistoa t-testeill\u00e4 ja laadullisen aineiston analyysimenetelm\u00e4 oli sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi. \nRyhmien v\u00e4lisiss\u00e4 vertailuissa ilmeni, ett\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00f6harjoittelijat kokivat 1. vuosikurssin opiskelijoita paremmiksi tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamisensa. Sukupuolten v\u00e4lisess\u00e4 vertailussa ei sen sijaan esiintynyt tilastollisesti merkitsevi\u00e4 eroja ryhmien v\u00e4lill\u00e4, eik\u00e4 my\u00f6sk\u00e4\u00e4n ryhmien sis\u00e4ll\u00e4. Laadullinen menetelm\u00e4 paljasti, ett\u00e4 opiskelijat kokivat kehittyneens\u00e4 tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamisessa liikunnanopettajakoulutuksen tunne- ja vuorovaikutustaitoja k\u00e4sitt\u00e4vien kurssien my\u00f6t\u00e4, ja ett\u00e4 he kokivat koulutuksen hy\u00f6dylliseksi. Keskeisimm\u00e4ksi osaksi kehityst\u00e4 nousi esille kehittyminen etenkin vuorovaikutustaidoissa, jossa kuuntelun taidot sek\u00e4 ongelmanratkaisutaidot olivat kehittyneet selkeimmin.\nTutkimuksemme perusteella liikunnanopettajaksi opiskelevien tunne- ja vuorovaikutusosaamisessa oli havaittavissa tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00f6harjoittelijoiden sek\u00e4 1. vuosikurssin opiskelijoiden v\u00e4lill\u00e4, jonka my\u00f6t\u00e4 tunne- ja vuorovaikutustaitoja keskittyv\u00e4n koulutuksen voidaan n\u00e4hd\u00e4 olevan opiskelijoiden osaamista edist\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n vuoksi tunne- ja vuorovaikutustaitoja sis\u00e4lt\u00e4v\u00e4t kurssisis\u00e4ll\u00f6t tulisi jatkossakin sis\u00e4llytt\u00e4\u00e4 keskeiseksi osaksi liikunnanopettajakoulutusta.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The purpose of this study was to find out the physical education teacher students\u2019 experiences of competence in the emotional and social interaction skills. The aim of this study was to examine if there was a difference between the first year physical education teacher students and the soon graduating fifth year physical education teacher students in the experiences of competence in the emotional and social interaction skills. In addition, the aim of the study was to examine whether there were gender differences between the research groups and on the other hand find out which emotional and interaction skills developed during the PE teacher education. \nThe research data was gathered through Webropol- software\u2019s electric questionnaire between December 2018 and January 2019. The participants of the study were formed from the first and fifth year PE teacher students who studied in the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. The study included 85 participants, of which 52 were 1st year students and 33 last year (often fifth) year students. In addition, of the research group, 44 were men and 41 were women. The data gathering was carried out in cooperation with the content of the PE teacher education courses, which concentrated on the emotional and social interaction skills. Hence, the data of the research was gathered during the meetings of these courses. The study was carried out using both quantitative and qualitative research procedures. \nFrom the comparison of the groups can be noted that the last year students experienced to be more competent than the first year students in the emotional and social interaction skills. On the contrast, there were no statistically significant differences between the sexes, nor within the groups. The qualitative procedure revealed that, the students experienced development in their emotional and social interaction skills through these courses. Furthermore, the students experienced their education as useful. The main part of the development was seen in communication skills, of which listening and problem-solving skills were developed the most. \nBased on this study to PE teacher students, there was a statistically significant difference between the first year students and last year students in their emotional and social interaction skills and therefore the education of the emotional and social interaction skills can be seen to improve students competence in these skills.
