Lis\u00e4ksi tarkoituksena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, mit\u00e4 merkityksi\u00e4 he kokevat ty\u00f6nantajakuvalla olevan sitoutumisen kannalta. Tutkielman teoreettisena viitekehyksen\u00e4 toimii Barrow\u2019n ja Mosleyn (2005, 150) kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4 malli ty\u00f6nantajakuvasta, johon kuuluu laajempi organisaation konteksti, sek\u00e4 paikallinen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6it\u00e4 koskeva konteksti. Sitoutuminen on sis\u00e4llytetty mallin osa-alueisiin, mutta sen merkityst\u00e4 on haluttu t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa korostaa, koska ty\u00f6nantajakuva ja sitoutuminen linkittyv\u00e4t vahvasti toisiinsa. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tapaustutkimuksena. Aineisto hankittiin kuuden teemahaastattelun avulla kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 2019. Aineiston analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4, ja sen perusteella tuloksissa nousi esille yleisi\u00e4 haastateltavien kokemia hyv\u00e4\u00e4n ty\u00f6nantajakuvaan liitett\u00e4vi\u00e4 ominaisuuksia. Lis\u00e4ksi tuloksissa k\u00e4siteltiin sit\u00e4, miten ty\u00f6nantajakuva ja odotukset kohtasivat kohdeyrityksess\u00e4, ja miten sitoutuminen koettiin osana ty\u00f6nantajakuvaa. Tulokset noudattelevat viitekehyst\u00e4, mutta joidenkin osa-alueiden rooli korostuu erityisesti t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa. N\u00e4it\u00e4 osa-alueita organisaation kontekstissa olivat maine, arvot, ylin johto sek\u00e4 viestint\u00e4, lis\u00e4ksi paikallisessa kontekstissa korostuivat palkitseminen, osaaminen ja kehittyminen, rekrytointi, ty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6, ty\u00f6hyvinvointi sek\u00e4 sitoutuminen. Koska kyseess\u00e4 on tapaustutkimus, my\u00f6s k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n sovellettavuudella on merkityst\u00e4. Tutkimuksessa ilmeni joitakin ristiriitoja yrityksen viestim\u00e4n ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kokeman ty\u00f6nantajakuvan v\u00e4lill\u00e4, joita olisi hyv\u00e4 kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 vastaamaan koettua kuvaa. Mielenkiintoista on kuitenkin se, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6nantajakuvan viestimisess\u00e4 luotettavimpana koettiin nykyisten ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kokemukset.
