T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin Omnian organisaatiomuutosta organisaatioidentiteetin n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta k\u00e4sin, sill\u00e4 se vaikuttaa olennaisesti organisaation olemassaolon merkitykseen, organisaation kilpailukykyyn sek\u00e4 henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n hyvinvointiin.\nTutkimuksen kohdeorganisaatio Espoon seudun koulutuskuntayhtym\u00e4 Omnia koki valtavan organisaatiomuutoksen, kun vuonna 2015 Espoon Aikuislukio ja Espoon Ty\u00f6v\u00e4enopisto yhdistyiv\u00e4t ammatillisen koulutuksen tarjoajaan Omniaan. Yhdistymisen my\u00f6t\u00e4 Omniassa k\u00e4ynnistyi laaja-alainen muutos, jonka my\u00f6t\u00e4 organisaation toimintaa alettiin uudistamaan kaikkien organisaation osa-alueiden osalta. Organisaatiouudistus astui voimaan vuoden 2017 alussa, kun Omniasta muodostui yksi oppilaitos. Lis\u00e4ksi valtakunnallinen ammatillisen koulutuksen reformi, joka astui voimaan vuoden 2018 alussa on vaikuttanut omalta osaltaan Omnian toiminnan ja johtamisrakenteen kehitt\u00e4miseen. \nTutkielman tavoitteena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 Omnian organisaatiomuutosten vaikutus organisaatioidentiteetin muutokseen. Tutkielmassa k\u00e4ytettiin valmista aineistoa, Omnia muutoksessa- henkil\u00f6st\u00f6kysely\u00e4, joka tehtiin Omnian henkil\u00f6st\u00f6lle syksyll\u00e4 2016. Tutkielmassa analysoitiin diskurssianalyysi menetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4 Omnia muutoksessa-henkil\u00f6st\u00f6kyselyn vastauksia, joiden avulla l\u00f6ydettiin vastaus seuraaviin tutkimuskysymyksiin: 1.Miten ja millaisena organisaation nykytila kuvataan eli representoidaan aineistossa? 2.Mit\u00e4 organisaatio- ja toimintakulttuurin uudistamiseen liittyvi\u00e4 diskursseja aineistosta l\u00f6ytyy? 3. Mit\u00e4 organisaatioidentiteetin muutoksen johtamiseen liittyvi\u00e4 diskursseja aineistosta l\u00f6ytyy?\nTutkielman tulosten perusteella Omnia n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyy byrokraattisena ja hierarkkisena organisaationa, jonka johtamismalli on hyvin perinteinen.
