Luovuuden m\u00e4\u00e4rittelyss\u00e4 korostui luovuuden rakentuminen sosiaalisesti yksil\u00f6n\u00e4k\u00f6kulman sijaan. Luovuuden ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4minen on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, koska se on yhteydess\u00e4 yrityksen menestymiseen ja siihen, miten muutostilanteita hallitaan.\n\nTutkimuksen aineisto koostui kyselylomakkeiden vastauksista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ilt\u00e4 (N = 265) kuudesta eri ICT-alan organisaatiosta. Organisaatiot olivat mukana Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston monitieteisiss\u00e4 johtamista ja luovuutta tutkivissa hankkeissa. Aineisto analysoitiin hierarkkisella lineaarisella regressioanalyysill\u00e4.\n\nKeskeisin\u00e4 tuloksina havaittiin, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6paikan ilmapiirill\u00e4 ja luovuudella on voimakas yhteys. Organisaation hierarkian tason lis\u00e4\u00e4minen analyysiin ei muuntanut t\u00e4t\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4. Siten sek\u00e4 hierarkkisissa ett\u00e4 matalan hierarkian yriyksiss\u00e4 voitiin edist\u00e4\u00e4 luovuutta. Ty\u00f6paikan ilmapiiri selitti suuremman osan luovuuden vaihtelusta kuin organisaatiorakenteen hierarkian taso.\n\nTulokset vahvistivat aiempaa tutkimustietoa ty\u00f6paikan ilmapiirin my\u00f6nteisest\u00e4 yhteydest\u00e4 luovuuteen. Aiempi tutkimustieto raportoi lukuisia tapoja, joilla luovuutta voidaan vaalia. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella voitiin p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 yksi niist\u00e4 oli huomion kiinnitt\u00e4minen ty\u00f6paikan ilmapiiriin ja sen osatekij\u00f6ihin, ja se oli mahdollista molemmissa organisaatiorakenteissa. Tutkimus toi siten lis\u00e4\u00e4 uutta luovaa tietoa hierarkian vaikutuksesta luovuuden ilmenemiseen.
