T\u00e4m\u00e4n pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli kuvata keskisuuren suomalaisyhti\u00f6n henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 yhti\u00f6n toimenpiteist\u00e4 liikunnan edist\u00e4miseksi ty\u00f6paikalla. Tutkimuksen kohdejoukko muodostui yhti\u00f6n henkil\u00f6st\u00f6st\u00e4. Tutkimuksen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin elokuussa 2018 Webropol-kyselyj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimuksen osallistujat (N=61, 26 naista, 34 miest\u00e4) edustivat eri ik\u00e4- ja henkil\u00f6st\u00f6ryhmi\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla. \n\nHenkil\u00f6st\u00f6st\u00e4 suurin osa toi esille liikuntaan pehmeit\u00e4 aktivointikeinoja ty\u00f6hyvinvointia korostaen. Organisaation kokonaisvaltaisella tuella koettiin olevan henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n liikuntaintoa edist\u00e4v\u00e4 vaikutus. Henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 kohdisti ty\u00f6terveyshuollon ohjaukseen ja tukeen runsaasti odotuksia, esimerkiksi ohjauksen yksil\u00f6llisyys koettiin t\u00e4rke\u00e4ksi. \n\nErityisesti liikunnan yleishy\u00f6dyllisyydest\u00e4 ja positiivisista vaikutuksista hyvinvointiin sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4jaksamiseen tulisi henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n mukaan viesti\u00e4. Liikuntaan kannustamisen ja asenneilmapiirin henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 mielsi hyvin oleelliseksi. Henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 n\u00e4ki, ett\u00e4 eritasoisten liikkujien huomiointi on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 liikunnan edist\u00e4misess\u00e4. \n\nSuosituimmaksi viestint\u00e4keinoksi n\u00e4htiin erilaisten s\u00e4hk\u00f6isten medioiden hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4minen. Koko organisaation ja erityisesti johdon suhtautuminen liikuntaan ylip\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n n\u00e4htiin t\u00e4rke\u00e4ksi. Henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 kaipasi valistusta ja neuvontaa, ja liikunnan rahallinen tuki koettiin hyv\u00e4ksi. Ty\u00f6matkaliikunnan tukeminen n\u00e4htiin yhdeksi keinoksi ohjata liikkumaan ja yli puolet osallistujista toivoi liikuntamahdollisuutta ty\u00f6ajalla. \n\nTy\u00f6olosuhteiden n\u00e4htiin olevan liikunnan edist\u00e4misess\u00e4 monella tapaa avainasemassa. Ty\u00f6ajan lyhent\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja joustavaa ty\u00f6aikaa ehdotettiin yleisesti. Toimipisteisiin pohdittiin erilaisia liikuntav\u00e4lineit\u00e4 ja oman ty\u00f6pisteen kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 liikunnallista k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 tukevaksi toivottiin. Liikuntapalveluiden ajateltiin edist\u00e4v\u00e4n henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n liikunta-aktiivisuutta monin tavoin; henkil\u00f6st\u00f6 toivoi esimerkiksi personal trainer -tyyppist\u00e4 palvelua, jonka koettiin motivoivan liikuntaan. Ty\u00f6paikoilla voidaankin systemaattisilla toteutuksilla saavuttaa merkityksellisi\u00e4 muutoksia henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n fyysisess\u00e4 kunnossa ja terveysk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisess\u00e4.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Promoting physical activity in the workplace can improve staff health and well-being. The purpose of this Master\u2019s thesis was to describe the views of the employees of a medium-sized Finnish company about the company\u2019s measures to promote physical activity in the workplace. The target group of the study consisted of company personnel. The research material was collected in August 2018 using the Webropol survey system. The study partisipants (N=61, 26 women, 34 men) represented different age and personnel groups. The data was analyzed by theory-quided content analysis. \n\nThe majority of the staff highlighted soft activation techniques for exercise, emphasizing well-being at work. The overall support of the organization was seen to have an impact on the physical fitness of the staff. The staff set high expectations for guidance and support in occupational health care, for example the individuality of guidance was considered important. \n\nIn particular, according to the staff, the benefits of physical activity in general and the positive effects on well-being and working life should be communicated. The staff felt the sports incentive and attitude atmosphere very important. The staff saw the importance of taking different levels of exercise into account in promoting physical activity. \n\nThe use of various electronic media was seen as the most popular means of communication. The overall attitude of the whole organization and especially the management towards the support of the exercise was well received. Supporting commuting was seen as one way of guidance exercise, and more than half of the participants wished to be able to exercise during working hours. \n\nWorking conditions were seen to play a key role in promoting physical activity in many way. Shortening of working hours and flexible working hours were generally suggested. Various sports equipment was considered at the office and the development of a workstation to support physical behavior was encouraged. Exercise services were thought to promote staff activity in many ways; staff wanted, for example, a personnel trainer-type service that was perceived to motivate them to exercise.
