Samaan aikaan yritysten paine monimutkaisissa kanavaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4 erottautumiseksi on kasvanut ja asiakaskokemuksen merkitys on tunnistettu yh\u00e4 laajemmin.\n\nAsiakaskokemuksella tarkoitetaan asiakkaalle kulutustapahtuman aikana syntyv\u00e4\u00e4 kokonaisvaltaista kokemusta, johon palveluntarjoaja voi vaikuttaa omalla toiminnallaan. Asiakaskokemuksen rakentuminen on vuorovaikutuksellinen prosessi, johon vaikuttavat kaikki yrityksen ja asiakkaan v\u00e4liset kohtaamiset, mitk\u00e4 synnytt\u00e4v\u00e4t asiakkaassa kokemuksia. Omni-kanavaisen markkinoinnin kontekstissa asiakaskokemuksen todetaan rakentuvan erityisesti kaikki organisaation eri kanavat huomioivan kanavaintegraation kautta.
