Älykkäiden talojen suosion kasvaessa kyber-fyysisten järjestelmien, joihin SHM- ja PHM-järjestelmät kuuluvat, suunnittelun tärkeys kasvaa ja näiden merkinnässä pitäisi pyrkiä mahdollisuuksien mukaan järjestelmälliseen ja yhtäläiseen merkintä tapaan, mikä lisää kustannustehokkuutta. Rakennekunnossapidossa ja ennakoivassa analytiikassa on potentiaalia vähentää niin kutsuttua rakennusvelkaa ja helpottaa resurssien käytön ajoittamista. Suomessa on viimein tehostettu kiinteistö- ja rakennusalan digitalisoitumista. In this bachelor’s thesis Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Predictive Health Monitoring (PHM) was under a review. Different techniques and methods were found some of which used artificial intelligence. Emergence of Smart Buildings increases the value of design of cyber physical (CP) systems, such as SHM and PHM systems, and in the markings of these CP systems certain formalism should be used systematically, which could decrease expenses. SHM and PHM have potential to lessen the amount of repair of debt and to help in timing of use of resources.
