Teknologian yh\u00e4 suurempi implementoiminen moderneihin ty\u00f6paikkoihin on tehnyt teknologiasta yh\u00e4 t\u00e4rke\u00e4mm\u00e4n ty\u00f6kalun ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ille. Teknologian lis\u00e4\u00e4minen ty\u00f6paikoissa altistaa etenkin uudet tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t stressille ja paineelle oppia ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4it\u00e4 teknologioita tehokkaasti. Uudet tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t saattavat joutua opettelemaan uusien teknologioiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 hyvinkin nopealla aikataululla. Aikaisempi tutkimus on osoittanut, ett\u00e4 min\u00e4pystyvyys pystyy mahdollisesti ennustamaan yksil\u00f6n kyky\u00e4 k\u00e4sitell\u00e4 stressi\u00e4. T\u00e4st\u00e4 syyst\u00e4 teknostressin ja min\u00e4pystyvyyden suhdetta uusissa tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iss\u00e4 on mielenkiintoista tutkia. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus tuo uutta ja arvokasta tietoa uuden tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n perehdyt-t\u00e4misest\u00e4 teknologioihin. Tutkimus toteutettiin koostamalla kirjallisuuskatsaus, jonka pohjalta toteutettiin empiirinen kvalitatiivinen tutkimus puolistrukturoituja teemahaastatteluja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en. Haastattelut toteutettiin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ille, jotka ty\u00f6skentelev\u00e4t Suomesta l\u00e4ht\u00f6isin olevassa kansainv\u00e4lisess\u00e4 teknologiaorganisaatiossa, jolla on asiakkaita yli 40:ss\u00e4 maassa. Organisaatio ty\u00f6skentelee terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin toimialalla. Tutkimusten tulosten mukaan min\u00e4pystyvyydell\u00e4 ei ole itsest\u00e4\u00e4n selv\u00e4 suhde teknostressin v\u00e4hent\u00e4miseen uusissa tietoty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iss\u00e4, mutta yleisesti ottaen korkeampi min\u00e4pystyvyys pystyy tehokkaasti v\u00e4hent\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n teknostressi\u00e4 uusissa ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iss\u00e4. Technostress is the darker outcome of the widespread of technology. Since the rapid advancement of technology and its implementation in today\u2019s workplaces, technology has be-come a vital tool in everyday work. This increase of technology exposes new knowledge workers under a lot of stress and pressure to learn and use technologies effectively. New knowledge workers may have to learn technologies rapidly upon employment. Perceived self-efficacy has shown promising signs in estimating one\u2019s ability cope with stress in prior research. Therefore, perceived self-efficacy provides a lucrative base to research further. This research will provide new and valuable information for new knowledge worker introduction to technology. The research was conducted by first forming a literature review. After this, an empirical qualitative research was conducted using semi-structured interviews. The interviews were conducted with employees working in an international technology organization based in Finland, working in the health and wellness industry with customers in more than 40 countries. According to study, perceived self-efficacy does not have a self-explanatory relationship with technostress in new knowledge workers, but generally higher levels of perceived self-efficacy can effectively mitigate technostress in new knowledge workers.
