Tutkimuksessa pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n tarkastelemaan jatkuvan muutoksen esiintymist\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 ja mink\u00e4laisia haasteita se aiheuttaa johtamisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta sek\u00e4 millaisia johtamisen keinoja tarvitaan jatkuvassa muutoksessa selviytymiseen. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus toteutetaan osana Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston kauppakorkeakoulun SALP-tutkimusryhm\u00e4\u00e4 (Strategy, Accounting and Leadership as Practice). Tutkimusaineisto koostuu 28 haastattelusta, jotka on ker\u00e4tty SALP-tutkimusryhm\u00e4n toimesta vuosilta 2009-2019. Aineisto koostuu pitk\u00e4lt\u00e4 ajanjaksolta, mik\u00e4 mahdollistaa muutoksen tutkimisen jatkuvana ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 ja tietoisuuden kehittymisen aiheesta. Tutkimustuloksista oli havaittavissa, ett\u00e4 kohdeorganisaatiossa muutos tunnistettiin jatkuvana tilana, jonka vaiheiden ja p\u00e4\u00e4tepisteiden hahmottaminen on haastavaa. Jatkuvan muutoksen k\u00e4sitteleminen ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 koostui muutoksen tunnistamisesta, muutospuheesta ja muutokseen suhtautumisesta. L\u00e4pi aineiston jatkuvaan muutokseen suhtauduttiin v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4n\u00e4 asiana, mutta se sai silti osakseen kritiikki\u00e4. Tulosten perusteella jatkuva muutos on aiheuttanut organisaatiossa monia haasteita, jotka jaoteltiin myrskyis\u00e4\u00e4n toimintaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n, vanhojen ja uusien toimintatapojen v\u00e4liseen suhteeseen ja tasapainon s\u00e4ilytt\u00e4miseen organisaatiossa. Tulosten perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 jatkuvassa muutoksessa johtamiseen tarvitaan perusteht\u00e4v\u00e4n johtamista arvojen kautta, selke\u00e4\u00e4 viestint\u00e4\u00e4 ja organisaation strategista ketteryytt\u00e4. Tutkimustuloksissa korostui, ett\u00e4 jatkuvan muutoksen aiheuttama ep\u00e4tasapainotila on toisaalta organisaatiolle hyv\u00e4 tila kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 sen ketteryytt\u00e4 ja muutosvalmiutta, mutta haasteeksi nousee turvallisuuden tunteen l\u00f6yt\u00e4minen muutosten v\u00e4ritt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n arkeen.
