T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tavoitteena on koota koulutus- ja oppimisteknologian hyv\u00e4ksymisen ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6noton tutkimuksissa ilmenevi\u00e4 sukupuolieroja. Tutkielma on tyypilt\u00e4\u00e4n kirjallisuuskatsaus. Tutkielmassa esitell\u00e4\u00e4n aineiston tutkimustulosten lis\u00e4ksi aineistolle keskeisi\u00e4 teknologian hyv\u00e4ksymisen ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6noton teorioita, sek\u00e4 tarkastelee sukupuolta osana teknologian omaksumisen tutkimuksen muuttujapohjaa. Aineistosta l\u00f6ydet\u00e4\u00e4n toistuvia havaintoja muun muassa koetun hy\u00f6dyllisyyden merkitt\u00e4vyydest\u00e4 miesten koulutus- ja opetusteknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6notolle, mutta tutkimustulokset ovat p\u00e4\u00e4osin hyvin ristiriitaisia. The inclusion of gender as a variable to the research of the topic has been recent, and therefore studies approaching technology acceptance from a gender-perspective are still few. Gender and gender differences have lately provided a point of view to technology acceptance research as theories that aim to model the processes of technology acceptance and adoption have been developed further. The goal of this thesis is to gather information on gender differences within technology acceptance and adoption in the context of education and learning by the means of a literature review. The thesis presents the key findings about gender differences in the specific environments of primary and secondary education, higher education, teaching and at the workplace. Additionally, some of the most significant theoretical background for the material is introduced and gender and its role in these models is examined briefly to form an understanding of the assumptions current research is based upon. The literature provides some recurrent findings of, for example, the importance of perceived usefulness to males. Overall, the findings are too ambivalent to form a comprehensive and general picture of gender differences in technology acceptance in the context of education and learning.
