Yksitt\u00e4inen voimaharjoitus aiheuttaa hermolihasj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n kuormittumista hermostollisten ja hormonaalisten vasteiden my\u00f6t\u00e4. Nopeusperusteisessa voimaharjoittelussa (VBRT) harjoituksen aiheuttamaa hermolihasj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 voi mitata m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 toistojen nopeuden v\u00e4hentym\u00e4 sarjassa. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tutkia nopeusperusteisen voimaharjoituksen akuutteja neuromuskulaarisia ja seerumin hormonipitoisuuksien vasteita naisilla ennen ja j\u00e4lkeen nopeusperusteisen voimaharjoittelujakson. Menetelm\u00e4t. 16 fyysisesti aktiivista naista (ik\u00e4 25,9 \u00b1 3,2 vuotta) tekiv\u00e4t kaksi kertaa viikossa kahdeksan viikon ajan nopeusperusteista voimaharjoittelua nopeuden v\u00e4hentym\u00e4ll\u00e4 20 tai 40 % (VL20% tai VL40%). Ennen ja j\u00e4lkeen harjoitusjakson tutkittavat suorittivat viiden sarjan takakyykkykuormituksen akuuteissa mittauksissa. Kuormituksen akuutteja vaikutuksia mitattiin heti kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen ja 24 h kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen. Tutkittavia neuromuskulaarisia muuttujia olivat kevennyshyppy (CMJ), voima ja RFD isometrisess\u00e4 jalkapr\u00e4ssiss\u00e4, konsentrinen keskinopeus (MPV) ja -teho (MPP) nopeusperusteisessa kyykkytestiss\u00e4, EMG VLja VM-lihaksista sek\u00e4 seerumin kreatiinikinaasipitoisuus ja veren laktaatin pitoisuus. Seerumin hormonipitoisuuksista mitattiin testosteroni, kortisoli ja kasvuhormoni. Tulokset. CMJ ja isometrinen voima (500\u22121500 ms) heikkeniv\u00e4t akuutisti 11\u221226 % heti kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen molemmilla ryhmill\u00e4. Ainoastaan VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 isometrinen voima ei ollut palautunut takaisin 24 h kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen alkutesteiss\u00e4. RFD pieneni VL40% - ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 lopputesteiss\u00e4 17 \u00b1 14 %. IEMG isometrisess\u00e4 jalkapr\u00e4ssiss\u00e4 laski akuutisti molemmilla ryhmill\u00e4 lopputesteiss\u00e4. MPV:ssa ja MPP:ssa sek\u00e4 seerumin testosteronipitoisuudessa ei tapahtunut merkitsevi\u00e4 muutoksia. Kortisoli kasvoi heti kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen alkutesteiss\u00e4 VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 (Pre:189 \u00b1 81 nmol / l, Post: 353 \u00b1 112 nmol / l). Kasvuhormoni kasvoi heti kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen ja kreatiinikinaasi 24 h kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen molemmilla ryhmill\u00e4 alkutesteiss\u00e4 ja VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 lopputesteiss\u00e4. Laktaatti oli koholla molemmilla ryhmill\u00e4 3 min kuormitusten j\u00e4lkeen ja VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 10 min kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen, mink\u00e4 lis\u00e4ksi se oli 3 ja 10 minuuttia kuormituksen j\u00e4lkeen merkitsev\u00e4sti enemm\u00e4n koholla VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 verrattaessa VL20% -ryhm\u00e4\u00e4n. Kahdeksan viikon harjoitusjakson j\u00e4lkeen VL20% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 oli kehittynyt CMJ, isometrinen voima, kyykyn MPV ja MPP sek\u00e4 IEMG isometrisess\u00e4 jalkapr\u00e4ssiss\u00e4, kun VL40% -ryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 oli kehittynyt vain CMJ ja kyykyn MPP. Pohdinta. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella VL40% -harjoitus aiheuttaa suurempaa akuuttia v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 kuin VL20% -harjoitus. VL20% -harjoituksesta palautuu 24 tunnissa, mutta VL40 -harjoituksesta palautuminen kest\u00e4\u00e4 yli vuorokauden. Kahdeksan viikon harjoitusjaksolla on hy\u00f6dyllisemp\u00e4\u00e4 tehd\u00e4 VL20% -harjoittelua kuin VL40% -harjoittelua, sill\u00e4 VL20% - harjoittelulla kehittyv\u00e4t tehomuuttujien lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s isometrinen voima ja lihasaktivaatio. A single resistance exercise causes neuromuscular and hormonal responses. In velocity-based resistance training (VBRT) neuromuscular fatigue caused by exercise can be measured by determining a velocity loss in a set. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of velocity-based resistance training on acute neuromuscular and hormonal responses before and after a prolonged strength training period in women.\n\nMethods. 16 physically active women (age 25,9 \u00b1 3,2 years) performed twice per week an 8-week velocity-based strength training period using the velocity loss of 20 or 40 %. 5 sets of back squat loading were performed in acute measurements before and after training period. The acute responses of the loading were measured immediately after and 24 h post the loading. CMJ, max force and RFD in isometric leg press, MPP and MPV in velocity-based squat test, EMG of VL- and VM -muscles, serum creatine kinase concentrations and blood lactate concentrations were measured. Serum testosterone, cortisol and growth hormone concentrations were also measured. \n\nResults. CMJ and isometric force (500\u22121500 ms) decreased 11\u221226 % acutely immediately after the loading in both groups. Only in VL40% group max force was decreased also after 24 h loading in pre-tests. RFD decreased 17 \u00b1 14 % in VL40% group in post-tests. There were no statistical differences in MPP or MPV. IEMG in isometric leg press decreased in both groups in post-tests. There were no statistical differences in serum testosterone. Cortisol increased straight after loading in pre-tests in VL40% group (from 189 \u00b1 81 to 353 \u00b1 112 nmol / l). Growth hormone increased in both groups in pre-tests and in VL40% group in post-tests. Creatine kinase was increased in both groups 24 h after loading in pre-tests and in VL40% group in post-tests. Lactate increased in both groups 3 minutes after loading, but it was increased 10 minutes after loading only in VL40% group in pre- and post-tests. Lactate increased statistically more in VL40% group compared to VL20% group 3 and 10 after loading.\n\nDiscussion. The results of this study suggest that VL40% protocol causes more acute fatigue than VL20% protocol. The recovery from VL20% protocol takes only 24 hours, but the recovery from VL40% protocol takes more than 24 hours. In 8-week training period it is more use-ful to do VL20% training than VL40% training because VL20% training develops not only power but also strength and muscle activation.
