Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin\nhiljaisen lukemisen sujuvuutta 2. luokan kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkittavat olivat oppilaita,\njoilla oli kohonnut riski lukivaikeuksien kehittymiselle. Tutkimuksen tarkoitus\noli kartuttaa pitkitt\u00e4istutkimusasetelmalla tehtyjen tutkimusten tuottamaa tietoa\nkaksoisvaikeushypoteesista lukivaikeuksien selitt\u00e4j\u00e4n\u00e4. Fonologista tietoisuutta\nja nopeaa nime\u00e4mist\u00e4 arvioitiin 1. luokan talvella. Lukusujuvuutta ja kirjoittamista arvioitiin 1. ja 2. luokan kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimus toteutettiin osana DYSGEBRAhanketta.\nTutkimusaineistosta havaittiin nelj\u00e4 kaksoisvaikeushypoteesin mukaista ryhm\u00e4\u00e4: fonologian vaikeus (FON, n = 34), nime\u00e4misen vaikeus (NIM, n = 37), kaksoisvaikeus (KV, n = 20) ja ei pulmia kummassakaan (EP, n = 90). Tutkimustulokset tukivat p\u00e4\u00e4s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6isesti kaksoisvaikeushypoteesia. Tutkittaessa ryhmien\nv\u00e4list\u00e4 kehityst\u00e4 lukusujuvuuden osalta, KV-ryhm\u00e4 suoriutui heikommin kuin\nEP- ja NIM-ryhm\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi EP-ryhm\u00e4 menestyi paremmin kuin muut kolme ryhm\u00e4\u00e4. Kirjoittamisen osalta EP- ja NIM-ryhm\u00e4t suoriutuivat paremmin kuin FONja KV-ryhm\u00e4t. Tarkasteltaessa hiljaisen lukemisen sujuvuutta 2. luokan kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4\nKV-ryhm\u00e4 suoriutui heikommin ja EP-ryhm\u00e4 paremmin kuin kaikki muut ryhm\u00e4t. Tutkimustulosten mukaan kaksoisvaikeushypoteesin avulla pystyt\u00e4\u00e4n ennustamaan lukivaikeuksien kehittymist\u00e4.
