Teknologian yleistymisen lis\u00e4ksi teknologia on\nmonimutkaistunut ja se muuttuu nopeasti. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 teknologian aikaansaamista\nty\u00f6ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutoksista on seurannut my\u00f6s haitallisia vaikutuksia ja ilmi\u00f6,\njota kutsutaan teknostressiksi. Teknostressi on stressin muoto, jolla tarkoitetaan\nerityisesti teknologian k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 aiheutuvaa stressi\u00e4 ja sen vaikutukset yksil\u00f6n\nty\u00f6ntekoon ja hyvinvointiin ovat moninaisia. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena\noli tutkia teknostressi\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 ja selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, millaisia vaikutuksia ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden\nkokemalla teknostressill\u00e4 on organisaatioihin ja niiden toimintaan. Tutkielman\ntavoitteena oli my\u00f6s teknostressist\u00e4 saatavan tutkimustiedon yhteen\nker\u00e4\u00e4minen, sill\u00e4 teknostressitutkimusta on kritisoitu sirpaleisuudesta ja\ntutkimustietoa kokoavan tutkimuksen puutteesta. Tutkielma toteutettiin\nkirjallisuuskatsauksena ja sen lopputuloksena saatiin selville teknostressin\naiheuttajia, teknostressin seurauksia eli rasitteita ja organisaation keinoja\nteknostressin lievent\u00e4miseksi. Tutkielmassa teknostressin aiheuttajien todettiin\nliittyv\u00e4n erityisesti organisaation tapaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 teknologiaa, teknologian\nk\u00e4yt\u00f6n yleistymiseen organisaatioissa ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden yksil\u00f6kohtaisiin\nominaisuuksiin. Tutkielman perusteella voidaan sanoa teknostressin\nvaikuttavan erityisesti ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden ty\u00f6tyytyv\u00e4isyyteen, ty\u00f6motivaatioon ja\norganisaatioon sitoutumiseen. Lis\u00e4ksi teknostressin todettiin vaikuttavan\nnegatiivisesti my\u00f6s ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden hyvinvointiin ja fyysiseen terveyteen.\nOrganisaation teknostressin lievent\u00e4miskeinojen todettiin perustuvan erityisesti\norganisaation prosessien uudelleenj\u00e4rjestelyyn ja t\u00e4t\u00e4 kautta teknostressin\naiheuttajien poistamiseen. Eniten tutkittuja organisaation teknostressin\nlievent\u00e4misen keinoja todettiin olevan teknisen tuen j\u00e4rjest\u00e4minen,\nloppuk\u00e4ytt\u00e4jien osallistaminen p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoon, teknologiaan liittyv\u00e4n tiedon\njakaminen ja ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kouluttaminen teknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n. Kaiken\nkaikkiaan parempi ymm\u00e4rrys teknostressist\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 auttaa organisaatioita\nl\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n parhaat keinot teknostressin lievent\u00e4miseen ja sen ehk\u00e4isyyn.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Technology and the benefits it brings have significantly shaped the way organizations work and how employees utilize technology in their work. In addition\nto the rise of technology, technology has become more complex and is rapidly\nchanging. These technological changes in the working environment have also\nhad adverse effects and have caused a phenomenon called technostress. Technostress is a form of stress caused by the use of technology, and its effects on\nthe individual's work and well-being are manifold. The purpose of this thesis\nwas to investigate the phenomenon of technostress and to find out what impact\nit has on workers and organizations. The aim of the thesis was also to collect\nresearch data from technostress, as technostress research has been criticized for\nits fragmentation and lack of literature reviews. The thesis was conducted as a\nliterature review and as a result, it recognized the causes of technostress, the\nconsequences of technostress, and means to mitigate technostress. In the thesis\ntechnostress agents were found to be associated with: organizations use of\ntechnology, the increased use of technology in organizations, and the individual\ncharacteristics of employees. Based on the thesis, it can be said that technostress\nhas an impact on employee satisfaction, motivation and commitment to the organization. In addition, technostress was found to have a negative impact on\nemployee well-being and physical health. The organization\u2019s technostress mitigation measures were found to be based on reorganizing the organization\u2019s\nprocesses and thereby eliminating the causes of technostress. The most studied\nmeans of mitigating the organization\u2019s technostress were found to be the technical support provided in the organization, the involvement of end-users in\ntechnology-related decision-making, the sharing of technology-related information, and the training of employees for the use of technology.
