Lis\u00e4ksi tavoitteena oli tutkia psykologisessa joustavuudessa ja kasvisten k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 tapahtunutta muutosta. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin my\u00f6s i\u00e4n, painon ja koetun terveydentilan yhteytt\u00e4 psykologiseen joustavuuteen ja kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n. \n\nTutkimusaineisto oli osa Keski-Suomen sairaanhoitopiirin ja Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston yhteisty\u00f6n\u00e4 toteuttamaa verkkopohjaista elintapainterventiota. Kahden vuoden mittainen interventio toteutettiin vuosina 2015\u20132018, t\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkimukseen k\u00e4ytettiin alku- sek\u00e4 12 kuukauden v\u00e4limittauksessa ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 aineistoa. Tutkimukseen osallistujat (N=177) olivat 24\u201377 -vuotiaita ja heid\u00e4n painoindeksins\u00e4 (BMI) oli yli 25 kg/m\u00b2. \n \nTutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin psykologista joustavuutta mittaavaa AAQ -kysely\u00e4 (engl. Acceptance and Action Questionnaire) sek\u00e4 terveystottumuskyselyn kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 ja koettua terveydentilaa koskevia kysymyksi\u00e4. Analyysimenetelmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin ristiintaulukointia, \u03c7\u00b2 -testi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 toistomittausten varianssianalyysia (ANOVA). Muuttujien normaalisuus testattiin Kolmogorov-Smirnovin ja Shapiro-Wilkin testeill\u00e4.\n\nSek\u00e4 psykologinen joustavuus (p=0.03) ett\u00e4 kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 (p=0.04) parantuivat merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti intervention ensimm\u00e4isen 12 kuukauden aikana. Muutos psykologisessa joustavuudessa ei ollut yhteydess\u00e4 kasvisten k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 tapahtuneeseen muutokseen (p= 0.50). Kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyi kaikissa kolmessa kasvisryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4 (tuoreet ja kypsytetyt kasvikset sek\u00e4 hedelm\u00e4t ja marjat), muutos oli suurinta tuoreiden kasvisten osalta. \nTutkimuksen tulosten mukaan verkossa toteutettu elintapainterventio paransi merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti osallistujien psykologista joustavuutta ja kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 intervention ensimm\u00e4isen 12 kuukauden aikana. Hyv\u00e4ksymis- ja omistautumisterapiaan pohjautuva verkkoelintapainterventio n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 lupaavalta haluttaessa lis\u00e4t\u00e4 kasvisten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 ruokavaliossa.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "This Pro Gradu thesis studies how the change in self-regulation gained during web-based lifestyle intervention performed in Central Finland region affected to the habit of eating vegetables and the changes of this habit. A secondary goal of the intervention was to observe the change in self-reflection and the habit of eating vegetables. Simultaneously the effect of self-regulation, age, weight and the state of health to habit of eating vegetables was observed in the intervention study.\n\nThe intervention study observed in this Pro Gradu theses was a part of a web-based lifestyle intervention designed by Central Finland Health Care District and University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. The 2-year intervention was carried out on 2015-2018 and baseline and interim analysis of 12 months of the intervention have been observed in this Pro Gradu. The subjects of the intervention were between 24 and 77 years of age and their BMI was over 25 kg/m2.\n\nFrom the materials collected during the intervention study, the following were used in this Pro Gradu: the results of self-regulation measurements (Acceptance and Action Questionnaire, AAQ-survey) and the answers to the health habits survey questions addressing the consumption of vegetables and experienced health. The analysis methods used were frequency distribution, cross-tabulation, Chi-square -test and repeated measures (ANOVA). The normality of variables was tested using Kolmogorov-Smirnov \u2013test and Shapiro-Wilk \u2013test.\n\nBoth self-regulation (p=0.03) and the habit of eating vegetables (p=0.04) were significantly affected during first 12 months of intervention. The change in self-regulation did not have an effect to the habit of eating vegetables. The consumption of vegetables increased in all three vegetables group (fruit and berries, fresh vegetables and cooked vegetables). The change was greatest in the group of fresh vegetables.\n\nAccording to results of this Pro Gradu study the web-based lifestyle intervention increased significantly subjects\u2019 self-regulation and the habit of eating vegetables during the first 12 months of intervention.
