Aerobisen energiantuoton ja kuormituksen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4 voidaan harjoittelun yhteydess\u00e4 seurata hapenkulutuksen ja sykkeen avulla. Anaerobisen kuormituksen m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4minen on kuitenkin haastavampaa. Anaerobinen harjoitusvaikutus (TE) pyrkii mahdollistamaan anaerobisen kuormituksen seurannan sykelaitteiden avulla. Laskenta hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 juoksuharjoitusten syke- ja nopeustietoa. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 kuvaako kehitetty anaerobisen harjoitusvaikutuksen laskenta luotettavasti erilaisten intervalliharjoitusten anaerobista kuormaa. Laskennan tuloksia verrattiin harjoituksista mitattuun happivajeeseen ja veren laktaattikonsentraatioon. Lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin muuttuuko luotettavuus merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti, jos laskenta suoritetaan vain syketiedon avulla, ilman tietoa juoksunopeudesta.\nTutkimukseen osallistui 10 tervett\u00e4 vapaaehtoista (23 \u2013 43 v.) henkil\u00f6\u00e4 vaihtelevalla harjoitustaustalla, joilla kaikilla oli ennest\u00e4\u00e4n kokemusta intervalliharjoittelusta. Tutkimuksen aluksi tutkittavat suorittivat suoran maksimaalisen juoksutestin juoksumatolla maksimaalisen hapenottokyvyn (VO\u2082max) ja sit\u00e4 vastaavan juoksunopeuden (vVO\u2082max) selvitt\u00e4miseksi.T\u00e4ss\u00e4 testiss\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4ritettiin my\u00f6s tutkittavien henkil\u00f6kohtainen juoksunopeuden ja hapenkulutuksen yhteys. Varsinainen tutkimus sis\u00e4lsi nelj\u00e4 juoksumatolla suoritettavaa intervalliharjoitusta, maksimaalinen nopeuskest\u00e4vyysharjoitus, submaksimaalinen nopeuskest\u00e4vyysharjoitus, m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4intervalliharjoitus ja maitohapoton nopeuskest\u00e4vyysharjoitus. Harjoitusten aikana tutkittavilta mitattiin syke harjoitusvaikutuslaskentaa varten, hapenkulutus happivajeen m\u00e4\u00e4rityst\u00e4 varten sek\u00e4 veren laktaatti levossa ja jokaisen intervallin j\u00e4lkeen.\nTutkimuksessa havaittiin, ett\u00e4 harjoitusvaikutuksen laskenta ei korreloinut kovin vahvasti harjoituksista kertyneen happivajeen ja siit\u00e4 laskettujen muiden muuttujien kanssa. Lis\u00e4ksi kuitenkin todettiin, ett\u00e4 happivaje ei t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytetyll\u00e4 tavalla todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isesti kuvaa kovin hyvin intervalliharjoitusten kuormittavuutta koska harjoitusten sis\u00e4lt\u00e4mien palautusjaksojen vaikutusta ei otettu huomioon. Harjoituksista kertyneen veren laktaattikonsentraation sek\u00e4 konsentraation nousun avulla lasketun anaerobisen energiantuoton ja nopeus- ja syketiedon avulla lasketun harjoitusvaikutuksen v\u00e4lilt\u00e4 l\u00f6ydettiin yhteys (r = 0,565 , p < 0,001 ja r = 0,549, p < 0,001 , t\u00e4ss\u00e4 j\u00e4rjestyksess\u00e4). Pelk\u00e4n sykkeen avulla lasketun harjoitusvaikutuksen ja veren laktaattikonsentraation v\u00e4lilt\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4 ei l\u00f6ytynyt. Harjoitusvaikutuslaskennan antamien arvojen havaittiin my\u00f6s kaikissa harjoituksissa eroavan merkitsev\u00e4sti verrattaessa vain sykkeen avulla laskettuja tuloksia syke- ja nopeustietojen avulla laskettuihin tuloksiin (eron merkitsevyys, p = 0,005 \u2013 0,036). Tutkimuksen perusteella anaerobisen harjoitusvaikutuksen laskenta kuvaa melko hyvin intervalliharjoitusten kuormittavuutta kun laskennassa hy\u00f6dynnet\u00e4\u00e4n sek\u00e4 harjoituksen syke- ett\u00e4 nopeustietoa. Nopeustiedon puuttuessa tulosten luotettavuus heikkenee huomattavasti. Yksil\u00f6iden v\u00e4lisen vaihtelun harjoitusvaikutustuloksissa havaittiin olevan melko suurta.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "There are two parallel processes that take care of energy production of the human body: aerobic and anaerobic energy production system. The latter can be further divided to alactic and lactic components. The amount of aerobic energy production and workload of exercises can be followed up by oxygen consumption and heart rate. Estimating the anaerobic workload is more complex. Anaerobic Training Effect (TE), tries to enable following up the anaerobic workload with heart rate devices. The calculation utilizes heart rate and running speed to generate the results. The aim of this study was to examine does the Anaerobic Training Effect reliably illustrate the anaerobic workload of different interval workouts. The calculation results were compared to measured accumulated oxygen deficit and blood lactate concentration. The second aim was to find out does the Training Effect results significantly differ if the calculation is done based on only heart rate data or done by using heart rate and running speed.\nTen healthy volunteer adults (23 \u2013 43 y) with variating training background but previous experience about interval training were involved to the study. First, the subjects performed a direct maximal running test on treadmill to measure their maximal oxygen consumption (VO\u2082max) and corresponding running speed (vVO\u2082max). This test was also used to determine the individual relationships with running speed and oxygen consumption. The actual study included four different interval workouts on treadmill: maximal speed endurance workout, submaximal speed endurance workout, extensive interval workout and alactic speed endurance workout. During the workouts, the subjects were measured for heart rate to calculate Training Effects, oxygen consumption for oxygen deficit and blood lactate at rest and after each interval.\nIn this study, Training Effect calculation did not strongly correlate with accumulated oxygen deficit or the other variables calculated from AOD. However, it seemed also that the accumulated oxygen deficit was not that good illustrator of anaerobic workload of interval workouts in a way it was used at this study. This was because the recovery periods during the workouts were not taken into account at the sum. The blood lactate concentration and the anaerobic energy production calculated from lactate concentration increase both correlated with Training Effect calculated with heart rate and running speed (r = 0,565, p < 0,001 and r = 0,549, p < 0,001, respectively). Training Effect calculated based on only heart rate did not correlate with lactate-based variables. The Training Effect results also differed significantly in all workouts when the results calculated only based on heart rate were compared to results calculated with heart rate and running speed (significance of difference, p = 0,005 \u2013 0,036). As a conclusion of this study, the Anaerobic Training Effect illustrates rather well the anaerobic workload of interval workouts when the calculation is done by using heart rate and running speed. The reliability of the Training Effect decreases significantly if the speed information is not available.
