Lis\u00e4ksi tarkasteltiin oppilaiden koulusitoutuneisuutta ja motivaatiota sek\u00e4 sen yhteytt\u00e4 fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen. \nTutkimuksen kohdejoukkona oli Etel\u00e4-Suomessa sijaitsevan koulun 3. luokkalaiset oppilaat. Vuoden mittainen seurantatutkimus toteutettiin mittaamalla oppilaiden fyysist\u00e4 aktiivisuutta sek\u00e4 koulusitoutuneisuutta syksyll\u00e4 2015 ja syksyll\u00e4 2016. Ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 mittauskerralla oppilaat opiskelivat perinteisess\u00e4 luokkahuoneymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4, jonka j\u00e4lkeen koulu remontoitiin ja toisella mittauskerralla oppilaat opiskelivat avoimessa oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. Oppilaiden fyysist\u00e4 aktiivisuutta mitattiin kiihtyvyysmittarilla sek\u00e4 fyysisen aktiivisuuden p\u00e4iv\u00e4kirjalla viiden p\u00e4iv\u00e4n ajan. Koulusitoutuneisuutta ja -motivaatiota selvitettiin kyselylomakkeen avulla. Lopulliseen aineistoon valittiin ne oppilaat, joilta oli mitattu koulusitoutuneisuutta molemmilla mittauskerroilla ja fyysist\u00e4 aktiivisuutta v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n toisella mittauskerralla, joten otoskoko oli 29 oppilasta (17 tytt\u00f6\u00e4 ja 12 poikaa). Tulosten p\u00e4\u00e4analysointimenetelmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin aineiston kuvailua keskiarvoilla ja keskihajonnoilla. Fyysisen aktiivisuuden eroja mittauskertojen v\u00e4lill\u00e4 tarkasteltiin riippuvien ja riippumattomien otosten t-testeill\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi koulusitoutuneisuuden yhteytt\u00e4 fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen tarkasteltiin Pearsonin korrelaatiokertoimien avulla. \nOppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutos ei vaikuttanut tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti oppilaiden fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen oppitunneilla tai vapaa-aikana. Ainoa tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero mittauskertojen v\u00e4lill\u00e4 havaittiin koko vuorokauden fyysisess\u00e4 aktiivisuudessa riippumattomien otosten t-testill\u00e4 tarkasteltuna. Ennen koulun remonttia lapset olivat fyysisesti aktiivisia keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 29,6% ja vuotta my\u00f6hemmin 47,7% valveillaoloajastaan. Tulokset my\u00f6s osoittivat, ett\u00e4 mit\u00e4 aktiivisempia oppitunnit olivat, sit\u00e4 mielekk\u00e4\u00e4mm\u00e4ksi oppilaat kokivat kouluun tulemisen. \nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 pelkk\u00e4 koulun oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutos ei lis\u00e4\u00e4 oppilaiden fyysisen aktiivisuuden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4 tai intensiteetti\u00e4. Koko vuorokauden aikaiseen fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutoksella voi olla vaikutusta, mutta muutos voi johtua my\u00f6s monesta muusta tekij\u00e4st\u00e4 (kuten vapaa-ajan harrastukset, muutokset koulumatkan kulkemisessa ym.). Oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutos ei muuttanut my\u00f6sk\u00e4\u00e4n oppilaiden koulusitoutuneisuutta tai -motivaatiota. Opettajalla on todettu olevan suuri vaikutus oppilaiden oppituntien aikaiseen fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen. N\u00e4in ollen opettajien asenteisiin, tietoihin sek\u00e4 taitoihin vaikuttamalla voitaisiin mahdollisesti vaikuttaa my\u00f6s oppituntien aikaiseen fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen. Jatkossa olisikin mielenkiintoista selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 opettajien ja oppilaiden tietojen, asenteiden ja motivaation vaikutuksia oppilaiden fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen luokkahuoneopetuksessa.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this study was to examine Finnish children\u2019s physical activity changes in two different learning environments. Physical activity was examined during class time, school day, leisure time and total activity during 24 hours. Also, school commitment and motivation were examined as well as how physical activity was associated with it. \nThe target group of this study consists of 9 to 10 years old children. They were measured two times, in autumn 2015 and autumn 2016. In 2015 children studied in classroom, in traditional learning environment and in 2016 they studied in new kind of open learning environment. Children\u2019s physical activity was measured by accelerometer and physical activity diary during five school days. School commitment and motivation was measured by questionnaire. To the analysis was selected only children of whom was measured physical activity one or both of measurement times, so the final sample was 29 children. Results were analyzed by using means and standard deviations. In addition to physical activity results were analyzed by using independent samples t-tests and paired samples t-tests. Relationship between school commitment and physical activity was analyzed by using Pearson\u2019s correlation coefficient. \nChanging learning environment did not associated children\u2019s physical activity during class time or leisure time. The total amount of physical activity during one day changed between first and second measurements when it was analyzed by using independent samples t-test. Sensibleness to coming school had relation to physical activity during class time. \nBased on this study it can be noticed that changes in learning environment don\u2019t affect children\u2019s quantity or intensity of physical activity. Changing learning environment can affect children\u2019s physical activity during whole day. Also, many other things can explain these changes, for example children\u2019s hobbies and how children travelled to and from school. Changing learning environment has no affects to children\u2019s school commitment or motivation either.
