Lisäksi selvitettiin millaisia erilaisia osallisuuden ja yhdenvertaisuuden tyyppejä EasySport-toiminta tuottaa. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisin menetelmin. Aineisto koostui kahdeksasta EasySport-ryhmien ohjaajasta, joilta kerättiin tietoa teemahaastatteluin. Aineistoa analysoitiin tyypittelemällä EasySport-toiminnan osallisuutta ja yhdenvertaisuutta. Lisäksi sovellettiin Engeströmin toiminnanteoriaa, jossa toiminnalla pyrittiin saamaan aikaan haluttu muutos ja tulos. Tutkimustulosten mukaan ohjaajat kokivat EasySport-hankkeen tavoitteet tärkeiksi ja ajanmukaisiksi. Lasten osallisuus toteutui kaikissa ryhmissä, mutta se ilmentyi eri tasoisina. Ryhmiin osallistumisen osalta ohjaajat kokivat lasten yhdenvertaisuuden toteutuvan täysin. Itse ohjauksessa yhdenvertaisuus nähtiin sen sijaan lasten osallistumista heikentävänä tekijänä, sillä toiminnassa oli mukana paljon eri taitoisia lapsia. Lasten tason mukainen eriyttäminen nähtiinkin lapsia motivoivana ja kannustavana menetelmänä. EasySport-ryhmien avoin luonne ja matala osallistumisenkynnys toivat mukanaan uudenlaisia haasteita. Tyypillisimpiä haasteita olivat lasten käytöspulmat ja rajattomuus. Typologisoinnin tuloksena aineistosta nousi esiin neljä EasySport-ryhmän tyyppiä, joita tarkasteltiin osallisuuden ja yhdenvertaisuuden näkökulmasta käsin. This research examines the views and experiences of EasySport instructors’ as concerns the equal ability for children to take part in sports and their active participation during sporting activities. EasySport is a method of sports education for primary school kids which began in 2010. The purpose of this work, was to find the outcomes when EasySport instructors evaluate an EasySport project and how the EasySport methodology works in practice. In addition, there is an attempt in this research to sort out and to classify different types of EasySport typology. The thesis was carried out in a qualitative manner. The material which was gathered, was collected through interviews and questionnaires which were based on themes. These results were later analysed. The typology method was used during the analysis. In the analysis, different types of participation and equality in sports were perceived by the instructors. Additionally, a content analysis was carried out, where the scientific reference framework was leaning on the activity theory, also in the concept of participation and equality. The action theory which was used, utilises Engeström’s model, which is based on change where those changes produce the expected results and where the change is managed within a project to produce the needed change. In the conclusion of this research, we find that EasySport instructors, learnt that this type of project is important and relevant in this current time. The study finds that, participation of children happens in every group but at different levels depending on the group. From the instructor’s point of view, equal opportunity of participation is experienced in all groups, if it is reviewed how the child comes to a group. In instances where equality means that, all children are doing the same thing. In those instances, equality becomes a negative thing, since the physical ability of each child is different. When there is a differentiation between children, where each child has their own level of activity, the child becomes more motivated and this type of situation seems to be more encouraging for the child. Typical challenges which were experienced, were due to the natural naughty behaviour of children and the lack of boundaries that children possess. The typology gave four types of EasySport groups which were observed through participation and equality.
