description Tässä kehittämistutkimuksessa tarkastellaan ammattikorkeakouluopiskelijoiden digikyvykkyyden tason arvioimista osaamismerkkien avulla. Tutkimuksessa analysoidaan Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulun digitaaliset työskentely-ympäristöt -osaamismerkkien soveltuvuutta opiskelijoiden digitaalisen osaamisen tason näyttämiseen, arvioimiseen ja kehittämiseen. Lisäksi analysoidaan, mitä vaatimuksia osaamismerkeille tulee asettaa, jotta ne voivat kor-vata perinteistä opetusta ja siinä tapahtuvaa arviointia. Aihetta tarkastellaan sekä opiskelijoiden että opettajien näkökulmista. Tutkimuksen yhtey-dessä päivitetään opiskelijoiden ja opettajien palautteiden pohjalta digitaaliset työskentely-ympäristöt -osaamismerkkejä. Lisäksi osaamismerkeille määritellään pidemmän tähtäimen kehittämiskohteet, jotta ne entistä paremmin tukisivat opiskelijoiden digitaalisen osaamisen kehittymistä. This Master´s Thesis examines the implementation of digital open badges in purpose of identification and recognition of students’ digital skills. The examination of “Digital Work-ing Platforms” open badges structure, implementation for demonstrating Häme University of Applied Sciences students’ digital skills and the suitability in further developing stu-dents’ skills are also included in this study. In addition to the introduction of digital open badges, the possibility of replacing the traditional teaching and assessment methods with Open Badges are examined. The design research is implemented from both students’ and teachers’ point of view. The feedback received from students and teachers including the results of this study were used in creating a Digital Open Badge Development Plan that will further support development of students’ digital working skills.
