Maisterintutkielmani tavoitteena on tarkastella, mit\u00e4 kielenoppimista on viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus - ja suomen kieli ja kirjallisuus -oppiaineiden tavoitteissa, sis\u00e4ll\u00f6iss\u00e4 ja hyv\u00e4n osaamisen arviointikriteereiss\u00e4. \nToteutan laadullisessa tutkielmassani hermeneuttista l\u00e4hestymistapaa ja hy\u00f6dynn\u00e4n teoriaohjaavaa temaattista sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin metodeja tutkimusaineiston k\u00e4sittelyss\u00e4 ja analyysissa. Maisterintutkielmassani on kaksi tutkimuskysymyst\u00e4: \n\n1.\tMillaista kielenoppimista on viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus - ja suomen kieli ja kirjallisuus -oppim\u00e4\u00e4rien tavoitteissa ja sis\u00e4ll\u00f6iss\u00e4 1.-2., 3.-6. ja 7.-9. vuosiluokilla?\n2.\tMit\u00e4 kielenoppimiseen liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 osaamista arvioidaan viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus - ja suomen kieli ja kirjallisuus -oppim\u00e4\u00e4rien arviointikriteereiss\u00e4 1.-2., 3.-6. ja 7.-9. vuosiluokilla?\n\u2028Tulosten perusteella Bachmanin (1991) kielitaidonmallin mukaista organisatorista, tekstuaalista ja propositionaalista kielenoppimista on viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus - suomen kieli ja kirjallisuus -oppiaineiden oppim\u00e4\u00e4riss\u00e4. Kielenoppimista ei esiinny jokaisessa oppim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n tavoitteissa ja sis\u00e4ll\u00f6iss\u00e4 molemmassa oppiaineessa. Lis\u00e4ksi tarkastelluissa oppiaineiden oppim\u00e4\u00e4rien tavoitteissa ja sis\u00e4ll\u00f6iss\u00e4 esiintyv\u00e4t kielenoppimisen teemat eiv\u00e4t aina ole kesken\u00e4\u00e4n samanlaisia. Arviointikriteerist\u00f6st\u00e4 ilmenee kielenoppimiseen liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 arviointia ja ne ovat yleens\u00e4 suhteessa oppim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n tavoitteisiin. Tosin 1.-2. -vuosiluokilla ei ole kielenoppimiseen liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 arviointia kummassakaan oppiaineessa. \nJotta arvioija voisi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 perusopetussuunnitelman perusteissa olevaa viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus -oppiaineen arviointikriteerist\u00f6\u00e4, h\u00e4nen on hallittava oppiaineen oppim\u00e4\u00e4rien tavoitteiden ja sis\u00e4lt\u00f6jen ja niiss\u00e4 olevien kielenoppimiseen t\u00e4ht\u00e4\u00e4vien osasten muodostama kokonaisuus. Vain n\u00e4in h\u00e4n voi kasvattaa viittomakielisen oppilaan \u00e4idinkielen taitoa ja -osaamista.\nT\u00e4st\u00e4 maisterintutkielmasta hy\u00f6tyv\u00e4t suomalaista viittomakielt\u00e4 \u00e4idinkielen\u00e4\u00e4n opettavat opettajat peruskouluissa ja suomalaisen viittomakielen osaamisen arviointia toteuttavat tahot. Kielenoppimisen ulottuvuuksien ja arvioinnin tiedostaminen viittomakieli ja kirjallisuus -oppim\u00e4\u00e4rien tavoitteissa ja sis\u00e4ll\u00f6iss\u00e4 ohjaa suomalaista viittomakielt\u00e4 \u00e4idinkielen\u00e4\u00e4n opettavat opettajat ja kielitaidon arvioijat huomioimaan yksityiskohtaisemmin oppilaan kielenoppimisen tason ja edistymisen.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "There is very little or no research on how language learning and language assessment is conceptualized in the National Core Curriculum for Basic Education 2014 for the school subject of Finnish sign language and Literature and how such conceptualizations compare to Finnish and Literature. The primary aim of this thesis to explore the notions of language learning and criteria for assessment in the goal and contents of Finnish sign language and Literature and Finnish and Literature. \nThe research questions are: 1. How is language learning conceptualized in the goals and contents for Finnish sign language and literature and Finnish and literature syllabuses for the grades 1-2, 3-6 and 7-9?, and 2. What are the criteria for assessment for grade \u201cgood\u201d or 8 in Finnish sign language and literature and Finnish and literature syllabuses in grades 1-2, 3-6, and 7-9, and how are they related to the pupils\u2019 language proficiency in terms of Bachman\u2019s 1991 model of language competence?\nThe data consist of those parts of the published text of the National Core Curriculum for Basic Education 2014 that are related to the goals and contents of Finnish sign language and Literature and Finnish and Literature as well as the assessment criteria for grade \u2018good\u2019 (8). Theory-driven thematic content analysis, primarily but not exclusively based on Bachman\u2019s 1991 model of language competence, was used to analyze the textual segments. \nThe results show that language learning is conceptualized through organizational, textual and propositional themes of language competence in the curricular texts for the goals and contents of Finnish sign language and Literature and Finnish and Literature as well as in the assessment criteria for grades 1-2, 3-6 and 7-9. There was some variation in the data as all the themes were not consistently present in every goal and contents segment in both school subject, nor were they present in the same measure. The analysis of the assessment criteria showed that the same themes were present in the assessment criteria and they interacted with the goals in both subjects for grades 3-6 and 7-9. No such themes were found in the grade 2 assessment criteria in both subjects. \nBased on the findings, it is recommended that not only should teachers familiarize themselves with the assessment criteria in the National Core Curriculum 2014 for Finnish sign language and Literature but that they should also be aware of the way language competence is conceptualized in the goals and contents of the subject.
