My\u00f6s pankkiasioinnin pystyy nyky\u00e4\u00e4n hoitamaan k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 erilaisia digitaalisia pankkipalveluita, kuten verkkopankkia, mobiilipankkia ja mobiilimaksamista. Digitaaliset pankkipalvelut kiinnostavat my\u00f6s tutkijoita ja erityisesti niiden omaksumiseen vaikuttavia tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 on tutkittu laajasti. Omaksumistutkimus onkin yksi tietoj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4tieteen valtavirroista, mutta samalla se tuottaa t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 tietoa my\u00f6s talousel\u00e4m\u00e4n toimijoille. Digitaalisten pankkipalveluiden voimakkaasta diffuusiosta huolimatta on olemassa kuluttajaryhmi\u00e4, jotka eiv\u00e4t k\u00e4yt\u00e4 mit\u00e4\u00e4n digitaalisia pankkipalveluita. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, mitk\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t est\u00e4v\u00e4t digitaalisten pankkipalveluiden omaksumisen Suomessa ty\u00f6ik\u00e4isten kuluttajien tapauksessa. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkielma pyrkii selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, ovatko teoreettisissa omaksumismalleissa esill\u00e4 olevat tekij\u00e4t k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4 samoja kuin ne tekij\u00e4t, jotka est\u00e4v\u00e4t digitaalisten pankkipalveluiden omaksumisen. Tutkielmassa m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s digitaalisten pankkipalveluiden k\u00e4site ja tarkastellaan niiden nykyist\u00e4 roolia yhteiskunnassa. Tutkielma sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 kirjallisuuskatsauksen sek\u00e4 empiirisen tutkimuksen. Kirjallisuuden pohjalta luodaan teoreettinen viitekehys, mik\u00e4 auttaa vertailemaan empiirisen tutkimuksen tuloksia aikaisempaan kirjallisuuteen. Empiirist\u00e4 tutkimusta varten j\u00e4rjestettiin yhteens\u00e4 11 haastattelua. Haastatteluista yhdeks\u00e4n oli luonteeltaan teemahaastatteluja ja kaksi avointa haastattelua. Haastatellut henkil\u00f6t edustivat kuluttajia (9) ja pankin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6it\u00e4 (2). Tutkielman tuloksena voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 digitaalisten pankkipalveluiden omaksumisen esteet voidaan jakaa karkeasti kolmeen eri luokkaan: fyysiset esteet, psykologiset esteet ja el\u00e4m\u00e4ntilanteeseen liittyv\u00e4t esteet. Fyysiset esteet pit\u00e4v\u00e4t sis\u00e4ll\u00e4\u00e4n teknologian puuttumisen ja korvaavan vaihtoehdon olemassaolon. Psykologiset esteet viittaavat perinteisiin ja rutiineihin, turvallisuuteen ja yksityisyyteen sek\u00e4 informaation ja tuen puutteeseen. Kolmas luokka eli el\u00e4m\u00e4ntilanteisiin liittyv\u00e4t esteet syntyv\u00e4t kuluttajan sosiaalisesta verkostosta tai haastavasta el\u00e4m\u00e4ntilanteesta. For example, many of us use a smartphone to handle various types of daily tasks, and it also helps us to be constantly in touch with the world around us. Today, we can also handle banking activities via various digital banking services such as online bank, mobile bank, and mobile payments. Researchers are also interested in digital banking services and especially the factors that have an impact on digital banking adoption have been widely explored. Adoption research is one of the mainstream topics in Information System Science, but at the same time it also provides important information for economic operators. Despite the strong diffusion of digital banking services, there are consumer groups who do not use any digital banking services. The purpose of this thesis is to find out what factors prevent adoption of digital banking services in the case of customers who represent working-age population in Finland. In addition, the thesis' goal is to find out if the factors presented in the theoretical adoption models are in fact the same as those factors that prevent the adoption of digital banking services. The thesis also defines the concept of digital banking services and examines their current state in society. The thesis includes a literature review and an empirical study. Based on the literature review, a theoretical framework is created which helps to compare the results of the empirical research with previous literature. For the empirical research, 11 interviews were organized. Nine interviews were semi-structured, and two interviews were unstructured. The interviewees represented consumers (9) and bank employees (2). The result of the thesis is that adoption barriers of digital banking services can be roughly divided into three categories: physical barriers, psychological barriers, and barriers related to life situation. Physical barriers include the lack of technology and the existence of a substitutive alternative. Psychological barriers refer to tradition and routine, security and privacy, and lack of information and support. The third category, barriers related to life situations, arise from social relationships or difficult life situation of the customer.
