Lis\u00e4tty\u00e4 todellisuutta voidaan pit\u00e4\u00e4 viel\u00e4 tuoreena teknologisena ilmi\u00f6n\u00e4 varsinkin kuluttajak\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 ja siihen perustuvia pelej\u00e4 on julkaistu vasta muutamien viime vuosien aikana. Siihen pohjautuvat pelit ovat kuitenkin kerenneet saavuttamaan jo suurta suosiota maailmanlaajuisesti, parhaana esimerkkin\u00e4 Pok\u00e9mon Go. Lis\u00e4tyn todellisuuden teknologiaan perustuvat pelit ovat potentiaalisia fyysisen aktiivisuuden lis\u00e4\u00e4ji\u00e4, sill\u00e4 ne perustuvat pelaajien liikkumiseen pelin pelaamisen yhteydess\u00e4. Tutkielmassa k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00e4pi kirjallisuutta siit\u00e4, kuinka lis\u00e4tyn todellisuuden pelit vaikuttavat ihmisten fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen. Lis\u00e4ttyyn todellisuuteen perustuvat pelit ovat vasta tulleet markkinoille viime vuosien aikana ja niiden suosion voidaan olettaa kasvavan tulevaisuudessa yh\u00e4 isommaksi. Tutkimuksen tulokset vastaavat kysymykseen: Miten lis\u00e4tyn todellisuuden pelit vaikuttavat ihmisten fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen? Kysymykseen pyrittiin vastaamaan kirjallisuusl\u00e4hteiden avulla. Kirjallisuutta tutkimalla saatiin selville, ett\u00e4 lis\u00e4tyn todellisuuden teknologiaan perustuvilla peleill\u00e4 ei toistaiseksi ole ollut pitk\u00e4aikaisia vaikutuksia fyysisen aktiivisuuden lis\u00e4\u00e4miseen. The augmented reality can be considered as a fresh technological phenomenon, especially in a consumer use, and the first games based on it have been published just over the last few years. However, the games based on it, have already gained popularity worldwide and the best example of that is Pok\u00e9mon Go. The games based on augmented reality technology are potential for increasing physical activity because they are based on players\u2019 movement when playing a game. Augmented reality games have just entered the market in recent years and their popularity can be expected to rise in the future. The results of the thesis answer to the question: How do augmented reality games affect the physical activity of people? To answer the question, literary sources were used. By investigating the literature, it was discovered that augmented reality games so far have not had long-term effects on increasing physical activity.
